Robert TG - your photos from the DCA referb are AWESOME, I especially enjoyed seeing the map of "DCA yet to come!" Please keep sharing what you have, it is the next best thing to being there to see the transformation in person! :goodvibes

Thanks for your kind comments. I get excited seeing what will be happening there. I hope everyone doesn't mind me posting more than one photo.

The Orange Stinger (which is such an icon of the park) will loose it's peel and have a Mickey Silly Symphony facelift. (They are planning a Goofy facelift for the Mulholland Madness.)

Wow! That is Cool. :thumbsup2
How ever did you get that photo? Were you on a "Backstage tour"?

I asked at the Tour Guide Office and was told that there was a "Walk in Walts footsteps" tour... (which my wife went on a few years ago) but I didn't think it had any "backstage" treats.

The new entrance to the park will be called "Buena Vista Street", This will reflect the 1920's Los Angeles as Walt Disney Experianced it.

No it wasn't a tour. I was leaving the park when the afternoon parade was going on. It was so crowded they were ushering people down the alley behind Main Street to get out of the park. I've only got to do this once before. There's not much to look at back there...some lockers, water meters, dumpsters, extra Jungle cruise boats and what not. It was still pretty cool though!

Wow!!!!!!!!! I was thinking how in the world did you get that pic...glad you explained it. We got to go up into Walt's apartment with our Backstage Magic Adventures by Disney but we weren't allowed any cameras, so you picture gave me a nice memory of being back there getting ready to climb up those steps.
