I had fun taking photos of the details all around Disneyland. This was taken just before you exit the castle as you enter Fantasyland.

I know ths is from a long time ago and I'm reading through the thread as I go along, but did you realize this is the back of a clock? On the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour, the guide told us that the clock is permanently set to a few minutes after 4pm, the time when the kids came rushing through the castle when DLR opened.

;) I'll post a pic of the other side if I don't see one when I'm done reading and looking through this amazing thread! I just go back and I want to add some pictures. ;)

love it, eym! I loved that little model but in no way could I get a shot of anything in it that turned out that good!

Sherry,
I think it's the model inside the waiting room/lobby of the Steve Martin and Donald Duck movie (which used to be Great Moments with Mr Lincoln?) on Main Street... I think the movie is called "The First 50 Magical Years." Not positive but it's close to that. There are lots of really fun things to see in there.

I will have to check it out next time (hopefully December). See that is one of the things that we skipped or didn't have time for in October. I think that the time we spent in the parks was not enough, and my friends are usually not open-minded enough to just go exploring to find little hidden gems in places we didn't expect - they usually dismiss things as being uninteresting before we have even checked them out! I always have to try to pull rank, but I end up giving in or compromising too much. I MUST make a solo trip soon!

Sherry you must check out the Fifty First Years show. We watch it everytime. I love it. It's a great way to get away from the crowds and I could just wander in the lobby and look at everything. It's really neat!

I am going to make a point of it next time (hopefully in December)! Even if I go in and see it alone and meet up with the friends later, that will be fine. As long as I see it! I guess there just wasn't enough time on the last trip.

Here's my POTD at the Disneyland Hotel. I love wandering around there with my daughter.
I'm gonna be going to Disneyland this coming Friday so I get to take more pics! YAY!

Where was this taken at?
I'd love to go see it when I go on Friday! :)

I believe it's inside the opera house where they are currently running the 50 first magical years or somesuch. Right as you walk into the park on the right, just past AP services.

It is a great picture because it is nicely framed and centered, the Castle looks great, and also your shirt complements the color of the flowers behind you and vice versa!

Thank you!! We got lucky (or unlucky) because they were filming resort footage by helicopter when we were there, so no one could go over the bridge to the castle so we got some awesome pictures infront of it and on the side!
