Amazing shot once again Danny !!!

I know I've asked this before, but what were the settings you used ?

I only have my 18-55 mm zoom and I'm a little worried because of the f stop; it only goes down to 3.5. Should I be okay with taking firework pics with the lens I have ?

Thanks a bunch wazowskiLOVER! You should be just fine with the 18-55mm lens. If you are using a tripod, no need to worry about a really low f/stop. If you are going hand-held then sure, you will need the lowest aperture possible as well as bumping up your ISO. I'd really recommend using a tripod, trashcan, railing, etc to stabilize your camera, though. The EXIF for this shot is below. As you can see, this exposure is a little over 1 second in duration. Let me know if I can answer anything else.

NIKON D80
Exposure Time 1.4s (14/10)
Aperture f/11.0
ISO100
Focal Length 24mm (36mm 35mm)

"...Ye comes seeking adventure and salty old pirates, aye?
Sure ye've come to the proper place.
But keep a weather eye open, mates, and hold on tight...
with both hands if you please.
There be squalls ahead...
and Davy Jones waiting for them what don't obey..."

I haven't been on here in awhile and have spent the last half-hour looking at this thread and being inspired by the many amazing photographers here. Wow! Thank you everyone for sharing your work.

Here's one of my favorite shots, featuring Princess Aurora from the Parade of Dreams this past July.

"No fear have ye of evil curse sez you..
Harr...Properly be warned, sez I.
Who knows when that evil curse will strike
the greedy beholders o'this bewitched treasure...
Dead men tell no tales..."

Great pics everybody!

Danny... that is an eerie fall portrait of the haunted mansion! love it

I never get lucky enough for the doom buggies to stop in this area or anywhere in the whole ride for that matter! There's so much I would like to capture on this ride but at least I've got a few fairly decent ones........
