With all the talk about the Orange Stinger in the thread regarding DCA changes, I felt obligated to post this one for today........

That Orange Stinger picture is absolutely REEEDICULOUS! You should REALLY be selling that! Wow.. that's totally amazing :worship: I think I will use it as MY wallpaper! Gorgeous!

On a different note.... where is that boat in the clear water taken from??

Love it, love it, love it, Danny! I took the castle shot from yesterday to change my desktop pic. (Yep, you make me change them often -- but I have a great collection of your work now!) Thanks so much!

Thanks DM! :goodvibes

Its absolutely stunning !!! Oh also, I've been the one posting about your pics
under shyboy72's name :) Everyone was getting confused whether it was him
or me talking, so I gave myself my own name :)

Thank you for the comments! I thought that was you. ;)

Thanks! :)

BTW.... I love my wallpaper! Thanks, NostalgicDad!!! :thumbsup2

Sy-........That looks familiar! I was actually briefly confused. I also use Vista and have it as my background. It looks really good on my 22" widescreen monitor but even better hanging on my wall in a 24x36 matted frame. ;)

Nos Dad, Im sure i've seen posting's before, but you mind posting your camera set up for these pics? I'm really interested in the lens you use for night shots.

Thanks Winky

The Orange Stinger shot for instance was using a Nikon D80 and Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 lens. I shoot all of my night shots in full manual mode, meaning I set the aperture, shutter, etc. That particular shot was a 10 second exposure using f/16 for the aperture and ISO 100. Focal length was 46mm. Set up on a tripod of course.

It just depends on what I'm shooting but most of the night time exposures are in the 3-15 second range. I have taken some up to 3 minutes in duration, though. Hope this helps answer your question and thanks! :thumbsup2

Great shot !! My fiancee (shyboy72) talked to me about you before I joined
the DISboards and I had to say that I was worried a little because you haven't
posted anything in a little bit. Good to see a post from you blackjackdelta!!

Another from me which, again, may have been posted before? Sorry if it has...I can't keep track anymore.

I assume that's in DCA, but I've never seen that! Is the Seoul/Korea sign always there? And can you point me to where in DCA it is?

The sign was added a couple months ago. And it's the Asian part of Pacific Warf where the Lucky Fortune Cookery used to be. The pic is of the side of the building that you can see from the lake.

Hi bumbershoot, Disneylvrforever has the location right, but it was actually up for just a week in June. Unfortunately, though, my timing was always off and I missed all of the performances (we were there 3 separate times during that week). I was really looking forward to seeing some of the traditional dancing as my DH2B is 1/2 Korean, but I don't know a whole lot about his culture. I saw some of it from afar while waiting for TSMM and what I saw looked really beautiful! Here's a blurb on it from Mouse Planet:

2008 Hi Seoul Korea Performing Arts Showcase
Disney's California Adventure will host the 2008 Hi Seoul Korea Performing Arts Showcase June 9 – 15, 2008 at a temporary "Festivale Internationale" stage constructed inside the Pacific Wharf area, just outside the Pacific Wharf Cafe. According to the event Web site (link), the showcase will include traditional dance, tightrope acts, singing and pageantry.
