OMG I love this pictue.

That is fantastic! Even if it were not as colorful it would be fantastic just because it is a glimpse into DLR during that time period. Whose picture is it, Eddie?

I hope no one minds me posting this here as it's part photography and part graphic design.

I took what turned out to be not-such-a-great photo from the Christmas Parade, so I decided to have some fun playing with it in PhotoShop. I ended up creating something I really like and would love to share it with everyone. Hope you like it, too.

The only thing I 'shop'd was the gray scaling, not the actual imagery in the photo, and of course I added the border and dreamed up the caption.

If you have a better caption, I would love to hear it!

Great! Oh and that Mickey and Minnie would have scared me too! They are creepy looking, but it was the '50s, so what can I do?

Just LOVE the fireworks shot NostalgicDad! No clue how you capture the fireworks like that. Mine all turn out blurry when I try. Just gorgeous.

It does ! I can't remember what times, but I do know that the dolls come out to march at times (maybe every 15 minutes ?) IDK. It is pretty dang cool though !

The dolls parade around on the 15s and the clock "dongs" on the hour.
