I know you post about Disney resorts in florida but has anyone gone to DLP. We leave Wed for 8 days at the Newport Beach Hotel. Any info would help

I went once about 6yrs ago and stayed at the Santa Fe. I did a little hotel hopping, but only saw the NB from across the lake. From the outside, it reminded me of the BC (different outside color though) and looked very nice. Sorry I can't offer up any other info on it. I hope you have a wonderful time!!!

Hi! We were just in DLP for 3 days over Thanksgiving, it was fun, not as big as Disneyworld in FL tho. We stayed at Davy Crockett Ranch, and the pool there was wonderful! I didn't go into Newport Bay Club, but from the outside it was beautiful, and all the hotels have busses, or you can walk to the parks, you just walk through Disney Village (which is like Downtown Disney) I wanted to go and check out that hotel, but we didn't get the time, but now thanks to the Army we live in Germany only about 3 1/2 hours from the park, so hopefully we'll be able to get back soon.
There's not a whole lot of selection at the restaurants, they seem to most all have the same thing, but it tastes pretty good. We did a character lunch there, it is different from the states, it is a buffet, but the drinks are not included, and it is more expensive, for 2 kids and 2 adukts we paid about 99 Euro, the kids do get one drink included in ther's however. We saw the sheriff from Robin Hood, and Friar Tuck, and Captain Hook, and Minnie, and I think someone else also I'm not sure tho.
It was a great vacation, I hope you have a good time if you have any other questions about the parks or whatever I'll try to answer. Dress warm and bring rain ponchos or umbrellas! Hope this helps! MB
