I was looking at the DLP website and I saw that they have a tour of the Disneyland park, I was wondering if anyone has done this.... Is it work the 25 Euros? What does it entail? Should I book the tour before I go or wait until I'm in the park? Thanks for any info!

If you are interested in how the parks were created, the theaming and history then you will enjoy the tour. We have done both park tours twice now and enjoyed them both each time. You learn about some of the details of the park, the stories behind the theming, you look at all the rooms in Walts and learn about them and go behind the scenes at Star Tours. We always book the tours before we go so that we know when the English language tour will be, but you can ask at City Hall upon arrival if you want to.

Yes we do enjoy learning the history of the parks. We have done the Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour at Disneyland California, Keys to the Kingdom and Behind the Seeds tours in Walt Disney World. It sounds like this tour would be very interesting. Before I read your post Danauk my husband was on the fence about the tour but when I told him there was a behind the scenes look at Star Tours, he was like "oooo, when can we book it?!?!" How many days in advance can it be booked? We will be called for dining reservations soon and it would be nice if we could book this at the same time.

We did the tour as well and really enjoyed it - the star tours behind the scenes was a definite highlight. We booked the tour at City Hall when we arrived. You also all get a special pin as well.

you're not guaranteed to get a behind the scenes look at Star Tours - we didn't on our tour of the park. You can certainly ask though.

We really enjoyed our tour ..... but we enjoyed the Studios tour even more. :)

We preferred it because we found there was more about the Studios that we didn't know - don't get me wrong, we loved the DL tour but we did tend to know most of it already.

p.s. I did the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour at DL and loved seeing the lift and lobby at Club 33, that's what Walt's is paying homage to.
