Disneyland Paris before Central Europe...doable?

Given the abysmal exchange rate between the Canadian and US dollar right now, we are throwing around various ideas for doing Disney and ABD next and one is the possibility of adding on a few days at Disneyland Paris before heading to Prague to start our already booked Central Europe ABD. How doable is this? Would this be making things more complicated? Really the only tricky part flight wise would be going from Paris to Prague. We can get direct flights from Toronto to Paris and from Vienna to Toronto. Just looking for some insight and advice to help us make up our minds. We've never done Disneyland Paris and I speak limited French and my mom speaks none.

I haven't gone from Paris to Prague, but I *can* tell you that getting from Charles de Gaulle airport to DLP is really very easy. The high speed train from CDG takes you directly to the station at DLP, which is literally right *at* the resort (between their version of Downtown Disney and the parks.) I think it takes like 15 minutes or something. So I really wouldn't worry about that portion of the trip.

Sayhello

You can get by with limited French at DLP. We had no problems - just be polite in both languages.

I think you could book a eurorail ticket from Paris to Prague pretty easily and would be a cool way to see more of Europe.

My wife and I did this very thing this past September. It seems very doable to us! We elected to take a private shuttle from the airport to DLP which costs a bit more but was nice early in the morning (we landed around 6:00am) and convenient back to the airport and avoided having to lug our luggage around. I think we used ezyshuttle.com. We had 3 days at DLP then went to Prague the day before our tour started. Had the morning in Prague to ourselves (visited the Bernard Beer Spa!) and joined our group that evening.

We got by with no French other that "Merci" and "Bon Jour". We found the park to be very pretty and the CMs nice overall. Paris to Prague was pretty easy and there are regular flights. We flew Air France but there were a number of others.

We stayed at the Disneyland Paris Hotel on DVC points. It was 201 points for three nights and well worth it. Each morning there is a European style Breakfast. You have a 5 minute walk to the entrance of the Park and we could see it from the room. It is odd to hear the spiels in French, but kind of neat! Beware...Phantom Manor is a lot scarier than our HM. Try to get Walt's Restaurant on Main St...it was the best! I would say YES!!!!

Thanks for the input. This is still in the "option" phase. We want to see what the Canadian $ does during the start of the new year. That's what's killing us right now. This would be in place of our Christmas/New Year's trip to WDW in 2016.
