Hi all,

I'm hoping some wise heads on here can give me some advice.

We're taking the kids to Disneyland in August, and staying off site at the Tulip Inn in Bussy St-George.

The kids are 10 and 3.

Originally, we were going to get a 4 day hopper pass, but were steered in the direction of an Annual Passport by a friend. By my reckoning the 4 day passes were going to cost about £500 and the annual pass will cost about £524 if we get Fantasy passes(we now figure on making a second visit within the year)

I've got to questions though:
1) - What time does the passport office shut? We'll arrive in Paris about 6.30pm and I'm wondering whether it's worth getting down to the park then and sorting out the passports so that we don't get caught up trying to sort it out on the following day (if indeed we can do that)

2) - Am I missing anything?

Also - what's it like trying to park at the site? Originally, we were going to get the Metro from Bussy each day, but I see that the pass includes free parking.

Thanks
Sam

If your getting Fantasy passes, check that the time your going isn't a blackout date as you won't be able to use them

The only blackout day for the Fantasy in August is the 14th so if you are planning on coming that weekend (and I wouldn't anyway beacause of the 15th) like Tennisfan says you wouldn't be able to use them and would have to buy a dream pass

You could get 2 passes from a site like CE multiadvantages and get the 2 childrens pass for free.

The AP desks are open same as park hours so you would have ample time at 18.30 to get them done

Parking is not a pb onsite as the car park is huge and even if you find yourself far from the entrance there are moving walkways to help you along.

With an AP you can also park in the Village carpark which is a lot nearer but you will pay 2€ for the day were as the main car park is free with your pass

:)

Am i right in thinking though that you can go in the park on a day you buy your annual passes even if its a blackout day, because you can pay at the gate and enter the park and then buy annual passes in the passport offices and you then pay the difference? and with a fantasy and dream pass you can use them the 2 days following buying the annual pass but you cant with the others?

Yep, if you buy them on the blackout day you can use them straight away and the following 2 days, unless you buy a Fantasy and the next day(s) are blackout days also then you would have to wait until the blackout period was over before reusing or buy a Dream and not have the pb.:)

Daft question time - what's the 15th?

Also - what's CE Multiadvantages?

We're arriving in Paris on the 9th and had planned to be on site between 10th - 13th.

Thanks
Sam

http://www.ce-multiavantages.com will take you to the CE site mentioned - offers discounted passports.

The 15th Aug is a bank holiday! The feast of L’Assomption is celebrated by Catholics throughout France, and commemorates the departure of Mary from this life and the assumption of her body into heaven.

The 15th of August is Assomption and it's a public holiday here in France. It gives everybody a 3 day weekend this year so makes the park way busier than it is already at this time of year

CE Multiadvantages is a site that if you pay a one off subscription of 20€ you can have acces to discount tickets and the ones that are interesting for you are the AP's for Disney. They offer 1 childs pass free for 1 adult pass paid

Only the child under 7 will get a free pass. The 10 yr old will have to have his own. Still a bargain though.
:)

Thanks for the replys.

From the info elsewhere on the Forum, it seems like CE Multiavantage are reputable, so it looks like money well-spent.

Have I got enough time to get the tickets ordered (we go 2 weeks today)?

Cheers
Sam

Think you get a temp passport to exchange when you get there - as this is electronic, don't think there would be problem given the timescale left. Hopefully others can confirm or in the absence of a reply, why not ring them to confirm?
