Hi,

My search doesn't seem to be working. We are thinking of going to Disneyland Paris in July and using our points. While reading the DVC member site it says passes are included is this true? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, passes are included, for each person in your party, up to the limit of the room, and are for the duration of your stay. (Assuming nothing has changed in the past year).

This is one thing that makes the high point cost of the Disneyland Paris hotel rooms, more reasonable.

We thought the point cost for DL Paris was VERY reasonable considering we got a deluxe resort (we stayed at Newport Bay, similar to Yacht & Beach) with a fantastic location to the parks, length of stay hoppers (from when you check-in until the end of the day you check out, so 3-days for us) AND breakfast every morning, included with the price. We've done this twice. The last time was in June if '05 and I think it was 98 points.

For $5 more per day you can actually have breakfast delivered to the room, which was fantastic because the breakfast buffets were packed! If I remember correctly, there were no hot items on the buffets or room service menus??? There are slightly fewer selections on the room service menu but not fighting the line and being able to eat while taking turns in the bathroom to save time was totally worth it to us. I believe we paid $10 more per person one of the two mornings in '05 and went to a character breakfast at Walt's instead, but I don't know if that's still included???

All-in-all, one of the best vacations we've ever had!

Sounds good, may be in the future for us.

Thanks I think this might be in the cards for next year.

Yes.
This effects the value.
If one is putting the maximum number of people in the room, and visiting the parks every day (from check in through the day of check out), it could come out to a savings, using DVC points.

When I looked into this, I decided against using my DVC points this way.
But I was one person, and was only planing on visiting the parks 2 days (of a 4 night stay), it did not seem like enough of a savings to use my points.
(I don't think I was saving anything, but I don't remember my exact math).

I ended up staying at the Dream Castle Hotel, which was very nice.
If I went again, I would probably stay at the Explorer (next door to the Dream Castle).
