Disneyland October 26-28th? Anyone else going to be there??

Hi there!
I know at one point there was a thread with who's going in October and I can't seem to find it anymore. Although it's entirely possible I missed it somewhere.

In any case, I was wondering about more specific dates.

Will anyone be there the 26th thru the 28th, or some portion of those dates?

We will be heading there for a quick visit and I was wondering how many other DISers will be there as well?

And more importantly how will we recognize you?

We will be there October 25 thru 28th.
We look like the family in my signature (kids are 2 years older now).
We will be wearing matching tie-dye shirts (yes, my boys roll there eyes when they see the matchy-matchy thing goin' on) and if it is cool, we will all be wearing blue and white, tie-dye, hoody sweatshirts with black mickey head on front and back.

We will be at MHT on Thursday night.
We will be at Fireworks and Fantasmic! (2nd) on Friday night.

How will we recognize you?

That's a good idea about the tie-dye. I'll have to keep that in mind for the next time. And I'll keep and eye out for those.

To recognize me just look for the frazzled mom yelling at her four kids.

We won't be doing MHT so don't look for us there. I thought about it and decided not to. We are getting annual passes and for a family of 6, I figured that was enough expense at one time.

Actually our plan is to be at Disneyland all day on Friday. I want to see Fantasmic so we'll probably be the ones camped out 2 hours beforehand to get a good spot.
We'll all be wearing Halloween tees. Either orange or black with some sort of Halloween design on them. And I'll have a backpack with something lime green tied onto it, not sure what just yet, and a pin with my DIS name on it.

Saturday we'll be at California Adventure until it closes and then probably hop back over to DL.

Sunday not sure what we'll do. Probably a few hours at one of the parks and then back to Vegas until our next visit which will be in December.

Its just a quickie day trip but I am sooo excited. My birthday is the 31st and I told everyone I know, "all I want is to go to Disneyland for my birthday." Now I'm going!

I'm glad you're getting your birthday wish, and I hope you have a great time!

BTW, I see you are in San Diego. Back when I lived near L.A. my DH and I used to go there all the time. This was right after high school when we were still just dating.
We loved it! Seeing your location makes me miss it and think I need to plan a quick get away for old times sake.

You know, it would be helpful if you could walk around the park like that. Make it easier for people to find you.

Kidding. That's really a great pic though. Makes me want to be on that ride now!! It's one of my favorites.

Oh me too!! I've heard some reports though that crowd levels are high. Let's hope it's not too terrible.

At least it appears the weather will be perfect!! Mid to upper 70's the days I'm there. Can't ask for better.

My girls are 11 and 7! Jade will be turning 8 on our Dec trip. Just made her/our ressies for Ariel's Grotto for her breakfast that morning. That was the first time we've been able to see Jade's head on CA Screaming. LOL Normally her head is stuck down so all we can see is the top of her hair. LOL We bought it because it was such a good one of the girls.

Maybe we should exchange phone numbers so we can *accidentally* bump into each other while we are there! LOL

We'll be there too! We're going Oct 27-30 and we'll be at MHT on 10/29. We're traveling with another family so I'm pretty sure we won't have time to meet up with anyone else on this trip, though.

If you're at MHT on 10/29 and see 3 little girls dressed up as candy corn -- that's me! (well, my DD and my Dnieces)

Hi Beth, and all the other next-weekenders!

We'll be there from Thurs night through Sunday afternoon for the annual Nevada Day Dash to DL! We travel in a pack of 8---5 adults and my 3 kids. You'll hear us coming before you see us

This trip we will be meeting up with another group of about 12 (more teachers from Vegas!) so we'll be a monster pack of unruly annual passholders.

Funny thing is...our next visit is scheduled for Dec. 14-16!!! What are the chances!?!? After that is MLK...anyone else???
