Disneyland Obsessed

I have a trip in about a month now, I always get so excited that all I can think about is Disneyland. I normally look things up and have a crazy knoweledge of random Disneyland facts or just random things about Disneyland. Any other suggestions of what I can do to get my Disneyland fix and not go crazy in this up coming month? I am thinking about ordering some Disney items ahead of the trip (I like to wear a different Disney shirt everyday that I am in the park) I normally just wear old Disney shirts from past trips. Maybe I will make a shirt too! Any ideas for a handmade Disney shirt would be awesome or pictures of handmade Disney items that you wore to Disneyland!

Sometimes when I'm stuck inside during our hideously long and dreary "winter" season, I go to youtube and watch everything from peoples trip video's where they're walking around the park to actual ride video's.
Not the same as being there but it's better than the junk on TV!

I do that as well there is an awesome youtuber who has a youtube channel called Randomland. He gives you great secrets about Disneyland and he's hilarious. I also watch those videos everyone else might consider boring, but for some reason watching someone else walk around Disneyland makes me feel a little bit of their happiness lol XD

I'm in the same boat with the YouTube videos. I just started reading The Disneyland Story by Sam Gennaway and Jeff Kurtti as well.

I hear ya OP, we have a trip coming up in June and I am going crazy waiting for the day we leave to come. What is funny, I recently went to WDW with a friend and even though I was excited for that trip, I couldn't stop thinking about my Disneyland trip...I don't know if it's because the last time my family was there was in 2013 and our home park is WDW. Anyway, to pass the time, I am always here on the DisBoards (especially the DLR threads), my family plays games at dinner like asking questions about our upcoming trip (i.e. what is the one restaurant that you can't wait to eat at? or name all the lands in DCA, etc) and my kids and I watch a ton of YouTube videos....we love to watch the ride videos and I really like to watch the YouTuber "Fresh Baked". Those guys are hilarious and they give you tons of knowledge about DLR and even do POV videos. OP, you are lucky that you have to wait 1 more month for your trip, I on the other hand, have to wait 3 and half months. Have a magical time.

Yes I recently found Fresh Baked and love them! I actually went and got my nails done Disney style since I am now only one week away from being in the park, I also went out and bought a pair of Disney Vans can't wait to rock both of these at the park!

Yes! I can't remember the seller but they have all these recreation blueprints of Disneyland attractions. I keep trying to convince the DW we need the Disneyland monorail one but no luck so far.

That sounds awesome I would totally have a Disneyland themed bedroom with blueprints hanging up.

I am thinking about making some Disneyland bows using the paper and tape method. It's super easy I used to do this when I worked at Starbucks, So that way I had bows that matched my work uniform.

I love Fresh Baked! I only get to Disneyland every 3 years or so, and it helps with missing the parks.

I have to remind myself that most people around me don't love Disney like I do. I almost always bringing up something Disney in conversation, even though I tell myself not to! It's just what's on my brain!

I have to hide how much I look at Disney stuff before trips. My husband super loves Disneyland too but I'm the one who could talk about outfits for the kids, places to eat, etcetc all the time. When we have a trip planned I begin even annoying myself a bit

The rest of the time it's not on my brain too much because it makes me sad and wistful. But yeah..plan a trip and I'm in it until it gets here. Full year this time.
