I was at DL yesterday and got some interesting information from one of the CMs (Matt--who also works Buzz Lightyear)) working crowd control at the castle for the fireworks (this CM was so good--totally exemplified what a Disney CM working crowd control should stive to be, we just had to put in a complement for him, and that was before he gave me all this interesting info). Anyway, most of it I'll be throwing over to the Rumors & News board as it's rumors at this point, but 2 things I felt needed to be here:

Piece of news #1: The Remember: Dreams Come True Fireworks will be lasting through the end of February 2007. I thought those who were planning trips in the first couple months of 07 would be happy to here this.

Piece of news #2: Rock-It Mountain (the night time version of Space Mountain) may not ever actually open to the public, other than Grad Nights. The reason being is that they would have to close the ride down for awhile each day to change it over. Also, Honda is sponsoring it and they haven't told them to open it to the public. CMs at this point don't even have any preview dates.

The rest that I heard will be going up on Rumors & News sometime later today.

Oh stuff and fluff! pooh: I was looking forward to Rock-it Mountain. Hopefully they do open it to the public.

I had heard that Rock-it Mountain was pretty much canned, with the exception of after hours events (like Grad Nights) due to the problems with switch over.

Disney is trying to work something out... But Rock-IT Mtn does sound temporary either way, once it does debut to the public.
If everything gets worked out.

I am hoping!! :wizard:

The idea of Rock It Mountain initially was pitched to go online this year during the summer, but Pirates II bumped that out as a priority. At the time that decision was made Grad Nite schools had already been promoted as having Rock It Mountain open for their after hours party, so Disneyland will honor that launch time frame. However, Rock It Mountain now stands to be launched for a limited time period early next year, along with a similar music and potential lighting effects overlay on another roller coaster. I’ll let you all guess which one.
