Disneyland new pool open!!

All Disney Resorts have family frienly slides. As long as the child can swim, though floatation jackets are provided also at the pools. While the big monorail slides might be too adventurous for some in the preschool set, there are two long simple slides for the smallest ones.

Thanks! I wasn't sure after looking at the pictures. I'm getting increasingly tempted to reserve at the DLH in September for our anniversary.

Super cute pool and FP tickets just for staying at DLR?! I am definitly switching my reservations from offsite to DLH this summer! :cool1:

Can you explain the FP for staying at DLH?
Call me silly but I am confused or just haven't been keeping up! :rotfl:

If you stay onsite this summer, checking in through September 5th, you will be given FPs. 2 for each ticketed guest in your party. They are good for any FP attraction and the Little Mermaid.

:cool1:SWWEEETTTT! I totally have not been paying attention! :rotfl2:
We will be there the end of this month! AP's count too?

We are staying at Grand Californian at the end of August. Where is this pool? By Disneyland Hotel? If so, can we use it? Thanks

No, you cannot use it--you can only use the pool at the Grand Californian. This pool is for the guests of the Disneyland Hotel. No pool hopping unless (I think) the Grand Californian pools are out of commission for some odd reason.

Edited to add: I don't mean that the GC pool is out of commission--I just mean that would be the only circumstance that would allow pool hopping as I understand the rules. :)

It's the Disneyland Hotel Pool. However just like at WDW pool hopping is not allowed in DLR either.

Is this good if you are staying at GCH? I booked a package in Jan/Feb time frame and we will be checking in this Saturday, 6/11.

Yes. If you check in from last weekend to September 5th you should get the FPs at check in for either of the three Disney hotels.

It's not anything you prebook.

I am confused as to what will and won't be open. We are going to DL on Aug 22nd for 3 nights. Currently we are booked for the DL Hotel. I'm glad the new slides are open. Our oldest 3 kids will love the slides. Will there be a children's pool open? Our 4 yr old twins are not adventuresome in the water (although we have all summer to work on this

Please correct me if I am wrong...but it looks like the new DL pool has a wading area for kids ( I think at the base of one of the monorail slides ) that isn't very deep at all ( maybe 1 foot deep at most ).

One of the things I did not like about the Neverland pool or even the other DLR pool was that there was not a pool where my 3 year old ( who does not know how to swim ) can sit, stand and wade around in.

I am hoping this is the case.
