howdy howdy howdy...

I was listening to the podcast and Mary Jo was telling the story about a cast member helping to convince someone's child do ride Indy for the first time and it reminded me of something that happened when my daughter was about 4 (we just dropped her off last week for her Junior year in college - how the heck did that happen?!?!?!) Anyway, she wanted to ride Splash but as we approached suddenly she got scared seeing folks come down that last drop. She might have been older than 4, but she basically was just over the height restriction. I did not want to be one of those parents that force their kids to ride something they are afraid of, but I knew that she would love this attraction so I talked her into it. Well, of course she loved it and after that final drop she screamed "Let's do it again!" The thing is, she then confessed that the reason she was scared is because when she saw people coming down the drop and that big splash they do with the water cannons, she thought you actually went under water at the end of the drop! So it got me to wondering, people out there must have other similar stories of kids or newbies who have some completely wrong idea about the parks, an attraction or a show. Anyone have any cute/sweet/funny stories they'd like to share?

Thanks!

I don't have any similar stories, but oh my goodness that is so adorable.

Well, I have a story about how there's NO WAY IN HECK my husband would've gotten on Tower of Terror so willingly, if he'd understood what was about to happen! lol

That look out over the parks & the sudden drop is best without knowing the SCOPE of what you've signed up for.
