disneyland merchandise for 'pooh sized' visitors

hi all,

we have a few people in our party (myself included) who would be affectionately described as 'pooh sized' and would like to buy disney t-shirts, clothing, hoodies etc.

can anyone confirm for me whether the stores at disneyland stock clothing in the larger sizes (larger than an xl) for the pooh sized visitors? i'd hate to go and not be able to come back with a fabulous disney shirt

They do! And even better, the clothes tend to run a little big! An XL is too small on me everywhere else in the world, but I can comfortably wear a Disneyland XL. I was swimming in their 2X.

I've seen sizes as large as 3x in many shops. There is usually a good selection up to 2x. But I have also seen 3x.

I am actually wearing my 2X size Disneyland shirt right now! I got it last week at the World of Disney Store in Downtown Disney! And I know that they also had this shirt in a 3X.

Almost everythiung comes in a 2x, but I'd say only 30% of their stuff is in 3x. If you need that size, you kinda got to look at everything

2x should be plenty big, especially if sizes run a little large, but we wanted to be able to walk away with at least one shirt, so this is good news

We're here now and although I have found things I could wear at 2x my dh hasn't because he carries all his weight in front in a pot gut and we haven't seen anything in tall.

Tons of things go up to a XL (almost everything it seemed) but not as much goes to XXL or bigger, but there are choices.

Tasscrapper, I'd ask in one of the stores to find out where they DO carry talls, because they do have them somewhere, I'm almost positive, I just don't know where.

yeah, i figured i'd be asking some friendly CMs if they had any larger sizes out the back if i couldn't find them on the racks from everything i've heard about Disney CMs (this will be our first trip to Disney, ever) they love to try and help make your experience awesome...

almost makes me want to pack up from this country and move over there to get a job at Disney

I have found the opposite true, that their sizing (for women) definitely runs small. I am normally a 1X but sometimes the 3x's are small for me at Disney.

That said, the store outside the Golden Horseshoe in Frontierland often has a lot of bigger sizes, as well as the main Disney store in Downtown Disney.

hrmm. i guess i can always hold one up against me for sizing comparisons... or if in doubt, go for the guys/unisex shirts... not as stylish, but i've found they tend to run big... having said that, mostly a 2x will be fine (larger hips/waist) so i don't anticpate too many issues... and if so, i guess as long as it's a stretch material
