My wife left her favorite hat at DL on Wednesday, either on the Jungle Cruise or in the Tiki room. I have the number to Disneyland lost and found somewhere, but can't find it. Anyone have that # handy?

TIA!

Guests can call Lost and Found at (714) 817-2166 between 10:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. daily.

PS, if it was found by a CM, they probably have it! They are wonderful.

Yay! I got back a digital camera I left in the Penny Arcade last year. Disneyland guests/CMs are the best!

Yeah! My DM lost her cellphone at DLR a few years back. (Also lost her wallet at a museum in LA the same weekend, don't ask!) Anyway once she discovered it was gone she called DLR and they had it and mailed it to her. They were great!

Few years before that while at WDW we lost my DD's autograph book on the train to Conservation Station in AK. This was at the start of our trip. We checked, in person, with L&F almost every day. That book never was found (I can't believe a guest would keep it-what with it being specifically autographed for my DD) but the best part was shortly after we returned home we received a brand new autograph book in the mail from WDW L&F completely filled with autographs. Every one you could think of, and more. While it wasn't as personalized as the one we lost, in some ways it was even better.;) Oh, and lesson learned, don't continue to use the same autograph year after year...you might just lose it.:scared1:

Personally I have found cell phones, digital cams, and park tix-we've turned all items in. Well, there was that bag of unopened candy I found like 20-30 years ago when I was much younger-that I kept.

It's nice to know that there are still good people out there.

We, ok this was true, lost a kid one time. He was older, before everyone had cell phones. We ran all over, looking for him, and found him in Toon Town. But we couldn't call his mom, because none of us had cell phones.

Boy life has changed. :dance3:

They were very cool. I spoke with a guy named Toby on the phone. When he located the hat, he offered to mail it to us, but I told him we were annual passholders, so it would be a great excuse to go to Disneyland again. I was very happy with the way their lost and found was run. Exactly the top tier service I expect from the mouse!:cool1:

I tried to get lost there on our trip last December, but the wife found me with the help of a CM. :)

My wonderful DD lost her AP at DTD. She was so upset and worried. On our walk back to the resort, we stopped at the L&F, and they had it. We so glad.

I told the clerk there that I lost my corvet in the parking lot, she said with a smile, sorry, we return everything but cars, especially corvets. They have a sense of humor too.

Glad you had a good result.

We have lost a couple of small things over the years. Nothing was ever returned to us. :sad2:

Although, a wrong item was returned to us. :confused3

I lost a blue Canon camera June 11th, 2013 between the Jungle Cruise and the front gate in Disneyland. I put a report in with DL but nothing was found. Please if anyone found it just send me the memory card, I will even send you the card back to you once I download my pictures, no questions asked. I just want my memories back. Email me at ann0d@netzero.net. It either fell in the water after the Jungle cruise or it fell out of my purse on the way to Main Street near the end of the night

I'm so glad when things are found! DD8 lost her pin bag last Year. She was devastated! We kept checking lost and found, but they didn't have it... Until the next morning! We stopped by lost and found right before leaving on departure day and they had it! It had made a pretty bad last day in the park for both me and her (I've passed on the worrywart gene to her). Now, I'm super-vigilant about keeping tabs on the girls' stuff and pretty much never saying 'no' putting their stuff in my backpack.

I did learn a lesson about turning things in, however. I turn everything in, and I generally go to the trouble of walking it to lost and found myself - if you turn it in elsewhere, it may not make it to lost and found until tomorrow!

I left my wallet hanging in a bathrrom stall in Toontown and didn't realize it until we were about to board Small World. I made a report and checked in a few times as there is a lag if something is returned to a CM until it gets to City Hall. On our way out I had to check one last time. When the CM came up from the back and I saw my pink and white polka dot wallet that she was excitedly waving at me I was shocked and my faith in humanity was restored! Cash, APs, credit cards--all there!

We also had a hoodie (non Disney but a favorite) returned to us--just filled out a card at Guest Svcs just in case it turned up and it was in the mailbox a few days later.

It's so great to hear all these positive posts!! It does restore some faith in humanity!! Donna PA, I do hope you get your camera and memory card back!!

We lost a shoe on Monday. thought it was found, but turned out to be a different tiny white and pink sandal... ;-)

replacement shoes at Disneyland are ONLY $40/pair for toddlers FYI ;-)

That's crazy! I would think a single kid's shoe would always be turned in because, let's face it, what's the monetary value of that and why would anybody else want it? :confused3

Just FYI. Put a luggage tag on all bags with your name and phone number. We left our camera bag in the baby care center. Panic ensues as I realized I lost my two cameras with every bit of non backed up photographic evidence of my dds first ten months. We thought wed left it on the stroller when we went into the tiki room and somebody stole it. Imagine my relief when I looked at my phone and I had a voice mail from the baby care center saying they had my camera bag. They said any cm is trained to call the number on a luggage tag.
