Disneyland info requested (for 1st timer)

I'm heading to Disneyland for my first time ever -- so excited. I will be traveling solo. Since I've never been I have no idea how long the two parks will take. I will be arriving on April 12 (but not first thing in the morning -- hopefully by noon.) I will also be there on April 13 and 14. Is this enough time to hit the parks?

In my opinion, two and a half days should be enough to do most things you want to do, although I think you may struggle to do everything there is to do, as well as "enjoy the scenery".

I visited for 3 1/2 days in October 2008 and managed everything I wanted to do with ease, so 2 1/2 should be ok.

Your best bet is to make use of fastpasses as much as possible, in order to save yourself time in queues. I would also concentrate on covering the rides you want to do first, before starting on re-rides (unless the queue is very short).

I think it should be enough time to see almost everything.

I agree use the fastpass whenever possible. I believe some rides still have single rider lines which you could utilize and may make it easier to get on some rides. Make sure to read Hydroguys tips, he covers a lot of stuff but is very helpful

Indiana Jone and Splash Mountain definitely do...
There's also a few rides in California Adventure, but I can't think exactly what - California Screamin' and Soarin' do, but I'm not sure off the top of my head what else (if anything).

We usually are able to do everything in two days in both parks. But, we arrive at 7am and don't leave until closing and take little time to relax. We seem to be on the go. Normally we take 3 days at the parks and can do everything plus spend time enjoying our surroundings more.

The good thing for me -- which will be a time saver -- is that I am not a rollercoaster person. Big Thunder at WDW is pretty much the biggest I will do, so I will save time by not riding the really adventurous stuff.
