Trip Report for Sunday, 1/26/25
I flew down from Portland this past weekend to spend my birthday at Disneyland with my 4 y/o daughter. I wasn't sure what to expect since the forecast was predicting rain and I've never visited Disneyland in the rain. I was hesitant that my daughter and I would not be able to do as much if it rained. Nevertheless, we continued on with our plans and came prepared for whatever!
It ended up raining a decent amount on Sunday but, wow, it turned out to be an AWESOME day! 2/10 for crowd levels. We rode Tiana's three times back to back between 9 and 9:30 a.m. They weren't fully loading the logs so we didn't get too much splash back. In the afternoon, when the rain really started to pick up, we rode BTMR 4 times back to back - it was a complete walk-on! We also finally got to ride ROTR for the first time after waiting about 25 minutes in standby. We got so much done and it was just awesome. We both wore rain boots and thick crew socks. Layered our clothes and had waterproof puffer jackets on. We stayed warm and it didn't bother us at all. We rope dropped and left the park around 8 p.m. because we had an early flight out this morning. I am super happy I got to experience Disneyland in the rain - on my birthday - it was definitely a different vibe!
