Disneyland in September - when to go to avoid Halloween

I want to plan a trip for September but read Halloween starts early in the month now. I would like to avoid Halloween if possible, should we just scratch September or will there still be some parades/shows etc that are not geared towards Halloween?

Halloween decorations will be up in Magic Kingdom all month. Halloween isn't a big deal in the other parks and you won't even notice it outside MK. There will also be some things Halloween themed at MK and some things not. This year, half of the Cavalcades were Halloween themed, and half were regular Cavalcades. It's your choice whether that's too much Halloween for you or not.
