We visited Disneyland for a couple of days 3 years ago, as part of a tour of California, but would like to go back next year and see it all again, and take our time and enjoy it properly next time.

My DS, 15, finishes school next year around 18th June, so we would be able to go on holiday after that.

Our last visit was in August, we stayed at the Grand Californian, it was very very hot, there was a heatwave, but we coped OK being in the hotel so near the parks, but the rooms are too small for us now, as we have two teens, boy and girl, so probably looking at the Disneyland Hotel this time.

Any info on weather, crowds, park hours for the last 10 days in June would be great. Also, am I likely to be able to get a triple A Rate on the hotel for that period?

Thank you! :thumbsup2

Hours are extended at that time of the year... Weekdays DL is open till about 11 and DCA till 9, and on weekends DL is open till Midnight and DCA is open till 9 still.

Expect there to be crowds as schools will be just getting out of school and people will want to take their kids on vacation. It will be like the start of Summer Vacation. As for weather... It will be nice and toasty. Bareable but definitely shorts and tank top weather. Water rides will be a nice welcome. Maybe a very light jacket for the evening, but the evenings should not be too cold.

I would suggest trying to use Ride Max and also take advantage of your fastpasses as much as you can.

Thanks for your reply, it's good to know the hours will be long, that's great.

Not so good that your schools will have finished for the Summer, lol, here in the UK they finish mid-July, but school leavers finish their exams mid June, so I thought we'd miss the crowds, oh well, what can you do? :confused3

I've never heard of Ride Max, could you please explain what it is? We've been to WDW 11 times, so we're familiar with fastpass but never heard of the Ride Max, is this something exclusive to Disneyland?

Thanks :thumbsup2

Check out Ridemax.com. I ordered it a couple of days ago and if it works, it's going to be great! :cool1:
