We had a combined group head to Disneyland. ME 35, DH 42, D"Aunt", best friend 36, DD 7, DD 4. We flew down from Portland, Oregon and Wendy flying in from Detroit.

We all landed in on Friday evening at 10:00 pm to give us a full day Saturday. We were expecting a large group in the park with AZ, OK, TX on break and 1 dance and 1 cheerleading tournament. Last year in May we tried to do EE on Monday and I found out how busy Monday can be. I thought since everyone was excited and going to be low on sleep anyway we would try the 7:00 EE on Saturday. Our hotel was on Harbor and we could take a break mid-day if everyone wore out.

We got up on time and were walking to the park by 6:40. I thought maybe we had got the times wrong. No one was around. HMMM!!!. We got through security and were first in line at the East gates. Other people were there and the CM were cleaning the machines. WHEW!!!!

We got in right at 8:00 and headed for Fantasyland. The kids still love that area. We rode 8 rides in 1 hour: PeterPan, Dumbo, Teacups, Alice, Matterhorn, Buzz X 2 and Space Mt. We walked on all of them. By that time I felt like I had my monies worth. DD 7 was feeling a little woozy after space so we took a drink and munchy break. I really liked Space Mt. I have rode it at WDW but not at DL since it was down the last 2 years. Really smooth and nice long track. The wait for it by the afternoon was 90 minutes.

At this point we started the FP collection, We got Indy which was ready in 45 minutes. We rode HM, no new effects we noticed. DH got us some BTMRR FP while we rode WTP x 2 and shopped. DA, DD 7 and I did Indy, DD7's first time, she did great on it. We didn't need FP the line was only 10 minutes. CM told us to keep them for later, at which point I was really sure that It didn't matter when we came back with any of the FP. DH and DD 4 shopped while we did Indy. Then DD 7 and DD4 did Tarzan's Tree house with me. My quads didn't like me later that day. We went on BTMRR with FP.

At this time we headed over to DCA. It was about 10:15. Monster's Inc. was big on the list. Sent DH to get FP for soaring and we went to wait in the longest line of our 4 days. 35 minutes to ride. Luckily it was sunny. Not impressed with the waiting area. Not much to see or do. Glad we brought fidgets for the kids. Ride was cute, the girls didn't ask to do it again though.

We did a lunch break and then headed for Aladin. I had planned on Saturday to be a bit more on the show side because I thought the park would be busy. We sat in the orchestra level 3rd row after the break. Girls loved seeing the animals and characters close up. We sat in the mezzanine last year. Good show and DA loved it, she hadn't seen it before.

DH was in the plaza we met him and got Pluto's autograph and watched the Wave Boys perform, Girls got some wiggles out dancing. We then headed for Soarin. Great ride, 60 minute line and we got on in 10 with FP. We took a shopping break our friends wanted 2 boxes of Mr. Potato Head parts, DA is an engineer and we put her skills to work.

Time for that afternoon rest break. Went back to the hotel. Girls and I swam and Hot tubbed then everyone took at nap. We headed back to DL and hit the park right at 7:00pm. Not bad for us because they had just closed the streat we were right at the circle and we parked the double stroller behind a row of sitting kids Adults were great and gave us room then we stood behind the stroller. We had the Ariel float dance in front of us. Great seats and no wait. Only problem was fighting our way up main street to get to the next set of ridesl They route you through stores. I wouldn't say people were on their best Disney behavior after a parade. From then on we avoided crowds after fireworks and parades. The swearing and pushing were unbelievable.

At this point it started raining. Luckily we are from the NW and use to this. We layered everyone and got out the rain coats. Ooh I forgot to mention. We had dumped some pop on DD7's rain coat early in day and I had set it up on stroller to dry. Unfortunatley it was taken and never turned in to lost and found. We checked everyday. We even had pictures of it on our digital camera. We luckily had extra ponchos and she wore one of these.

Here's a plug if it rains we found a great poncho from COLEMAN that is lined and has a zipper at the hood so can be turned into a blanket. It is also self contained with easy folding and has a strap. We used it to keep warm in the evening and covered the stroller during the rain.

We got Buzz FP and went on the ride with our FP from 11:00 am. We walked on Pinocchio x 3, snow white x2 and 5 minute wait for storybook canal boats. We then rode IASW, Teacups, Alice and another ride on Buzz with FP to round the day out. FYI the Fireworks were wind and rained out.

28 events for a busy Saturday and having a 3 hour break. Like that EE on Saturday.
