Does anyone know where we can get the hours for Disneyland for May?- the offical site allows you to look at the dates for up to 3 months ahead but doesn't actually tell you what the opening hours or parade/firework times will be-does this site have the info like it does for WDW?

The biggest reason WDW posts park hours, EMH and entertainment so far in advance really gets back to the ADR/dining reservations which are more popular there and are taken 6 months in advance. It really requires people to plan their park days and dining at the 6 month mark. Further, WDW has a high proportion of vacationers from out of town staying at nearby hotels who need this information to plan.

DLR's dining reservations (called PS) are much less popular than WDW and are taken 2 months in advance in most cases. DLR caters more to locals on day trips and hence does not have any need to post hours and entertainment that far in advance. Sometimes they post it 4-6 weeks in advance, sometimes as far out as three months.

The best way to gauge what might happen before hours and entertainment are posted is to look at previous yeras because DLR does not change that much year-to-year. Here is a link to that info:

Thanks so much for the link, that was really useful-although disappointing! (It looks like no fantasmic or fireworks on weeknights:sad: )

There will be a period of time when Fantasmic will be down (I believe through May) for upgrades to the show.

Yes. May is off-season and has all the off-season downsides. If one wants to see the shows they need to overlap a weekend.

See "What You Should Know About Off-Season at DLR" www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=18462889
