Disneyland Hotel with DVC points

Hey there,

We are considering to use DVC points to stay a few nights at Disneyland Hotel at the end of January. Are there any fees I should be aware of before making this decision, such as resort fees etc? Would we be able to have free parking as a DVC member if we did this? Thank you for your assistance

I cant see having resort fees, as the GC doesnt have any. Not sure about the parking. Make sure your points have no restictions, as this is the only way to use them.
The other way is to rent out and pay cash for the room, this might be better as the point total might be high to use.

The primary drawback is that once used to book a hotel, even the DL Hotel, if you have to cancel, those points can't go back to being normal DVC points and can't be used to book a DVC resort. They're restricted to being used on other Disney hotels, cruises or the Concierge Collection. So renting out the points for cash and using the cash to book the DL Hotel can be a better choice than booking with points.

Only points bought direct or resale prior to 2012 are eligible to trade.

If you do have eligible points, then you can view the point charts on the DVC site, They are updated each year.
