Is it worth it to get theme park view at DLH? What do you see exactly?

Only you can decide if it is worth it for you. For my family, yes, we think it is worth it to pay more for a nice view of the park.

ok Im a little confused...you cannot see the park from the DL hotel...the views are either pool or DtD....:confused3

You can certainly see DCA from certain rooms.

Even so, I did not think the view was all that great, so for the next trip we are doing pool view.

We had a standard view room in the Fantasy Tower and had a great view of the Matterhorn, Space Mountain, etc. off to the side. We could also see Magical, including Dumbo and Tink flying.

I get a theme park view when I'm in the theme park. I think paying through the nose for a bit of DCA when you get back to your room for an hour is an extra expense I don't need.

We had a standard room in fantasy tower and we were blown away with the view. We had a great view of the fireworks. We could see a bit of the castle, space mountain etc. I loved the room but I hated how far the walk was.

We had a DtD view in the Adventure Tower the one time we stayed at DLH. I did pay a little extra for a "view" room because at that point it was a drop in the bucket compared to the rest of the costs. I decided that since we almost never stay on site that I was not going to look at a parking lot when I was there. We ended up with a lovely view of DtD, parts of Disneyland park, the fireworks, and parts of DCA. If we ever stay at DLH again, I think I would pay for the view in an effort to duplicate the previous experience. If we stayed onsite a lot, I don't think I would worry as much about paying for the view. When we splurged to stay onsite, it was with the plan that the hotel was going to be part of the experience for that trip and that we would be spending more time in the room and on the grounds than usual.

we stayed at DLH in the fantasy tower last September and the view was gorgeous !!! I just booked it again for 4 weeks form now !

In my opinion, it very likely isn't worth the extra cost. Why spend extra money to 'look' at the park, when you can actually 'be' in the park.

If you're like most people and will be in the park all day, does it really matter what your room looks out on to? We've had the parking lot view and the pool view at the DLH, and quite frankly, it was noisier with the pool view.

The parking lot view is also nice if you have little ones who can't stay up late enough for the fireworks, as you have a great view of the show and can listen to the music through your tv.

Ok, I'm a little confused. If you get a parking lot view, then you can see some fireworks?

Well worth it. Do you stay on the LV strip facing the mountains? No. You only live once, enjoy the view. There's something enjoyable about the quiet and relaxation of your hotel room, looking out onto the hustle and bustle of the parks. You may not want to be in the parks for every night of fireworks, so you can enjoy from your room.

It's a totally subjective question ... but for me it is. The resort experience is very important to me.

We've been in the main building twice, parking lot view both times, and had great views of the fireworks. You can only get glimpses of Tink, but it was nice on the nights the munchkin pooped out early.
