Disneyland Hotel special request room?

I won 3 nights at the DL Hotel during the lastminutetravel promo last week, and since I've never stayed there (but always dreamed of it) I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on which rooms would be nice to request. Since we are AP's I hoped that maybe we could even ask for an upgrade when we get there.

Also, does anyone have any special tips or insights about staying there we really want to experience the hotel every way that we can since we may never be lucky enough to stay there again. TIA!

Yes.
You should ask for a room in the Dreams Tower - either one overlooking Downtown Disney or a room over looking the pool in the Dreams Tower.
Whichever you would like. Both are nice. Congrats and enjoy your stay!
