Hi all,

Need some help in planning an upcoming Disneyland Vacation.

My wife and I will be celebrating our Anniversary in April 2010. We planned to stay at the Disneyland Hotel.

Our last vacation to Disneyland was over 15 years ago.

We'd like to stay in one of the new rooms. I did read the Dreams Tower will be finished sometime in June.

Anyone have any suggestions (besides calling before we arrive and begging at the front desk) to get into one of the renovated rooms???

Is there category that is completed? King? Queens? Handicap Rooms?

My room options are:

Standard View
Resort/Pool View
Upper Level Resort/Pool View

If the upper levels are done and I have a better chance, I'd pay extra.

Any info is great!

I would love to know this as well I am booking this week. I am note sure if I should stick to resort/pool view floors 3-6 or go for the upper level. What is our best chance at getting a renovated room? If you book through the disney sight is there anywhere to request that on the reservation?

Agreed on everyone else's questions. We are getting ready to book an October trip & we'd also be willing to pay extra to get one of the refurbished rooms. I'm wondering if going through a Travel Agent would be help in getting one of the new rooms?

I booked via telephone, and was told to ask about 5 days before arrival for the renovated room to make sure--and it is noted on my reservation that I wanted one.
