My DH and I are trying to plan a kid-free getaway. According to the AP website we can get the DLH for $149.00 a night. My question is what kind of taxes are on top of that. I am from Canada and with the dollar the way it is I am trying to buget for this trip.
Thanks

I think that hotel tax in Anaheim is 15%. At least that is what invoice for our upcoming trip to HoJo's indicates.

There could be an additional "resort fee" for DLH, not sure about that.

Yes, there is a resort fee for all 3 hotels. On top of the room rate you pay (whether it is $149 or whatever) and the 15% tax they apply to that, you pay a resort fee of $12 per night you are there, plus another 15% tax on top of that. So the resort fee with tax comes out to $13.80 per night you stay at the DLH. Otherwise, your parking is included in the resort fee (if you drive there) so you don't have to pay extra for that, and the only additional charges would be if you used valet or room service or bell service, that sort of thing.

We got the AP7 rate when we were there in Oct. Our room was $159. but after taxes it was $200. a night. Not worth it to us. We would rather save our $ and stay at HoJos!

Thanks everyone! I am going to call and see if they can give me a total of what it would cost. Of course the exchange rate will very I guess but at least I will have an idea!
