Disneyland Hotel Parking Question?

Hey fellow DISers,

Just a quick question regarding the parking situation at the Disneyland Hotel. We have a reservation for one night this coming October and two of our party members staying with us (only for that night) will have a vehicle in tow. I am wondering how much (if anything) it costs to park a car while staying at the hotel. We plan to visit the parks with the vehicle renters the following day... so they are wondering if the option of leaving their car there in the hotel parking lot until the end of our day in the parks is an option or not? If so, is it an additional fee or what? They plan to then depart the Disneyland Resort that night to spend the night at a hotel near LAX for their flight the next morning. We will then be continuing our vacation offsite.

If the car needs to be moved from hotel parking while visiting the parks the next day, what is the best option for them to take? Just moving it into the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure? Any information on parking at the DLH would be appreciated as I've never needed to rent a car on my past visits so it's never been something I've needed to know or pay mind to...

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the info! Are they able to pay their parking fees separately from the reservation (which is under my name, my card, etc.)?
Not exactly. You could take them to the front desk the night they arrive and have them pay whatever they owe in parking towards the hotel bill. (Personally I'd send them the link showing the parking charges and have them Venmo me the money when they arrive at DLH.)

When we have stayed they asked at check in if we needed parking, gave us a pass to put in our vehicle and there was no charge when we exited. We were charged $20.00 per day per vehicle which was added to our hotel account (we had a vehicle for the entire stay). I also had family come for one night (they were registered guests of our room) and we got an additional pass for them which was also charged to our hotel bill. They might would have to pay the fees to the front desk instead of at the gate upon exit. But definitely as gottalovepluto said - have them park in the Hotel parking.

Parking for registered guests at DLR onsite hotels is $20 per NIGHT, similar to how rooms are charged.
A guest could arrive early on check-in day and leave the car parked until late on check-out day, and be charged a single $20 fee for a 1 night visit.

Well, hot darn! Why did I think the charged by the date? I would have sworn up and down that they did so I literally just went back over my last hotel bill- OF COURSE you're right! No parking charge for check-out day! Woo-hoo! @Elias1901 cut your parking cost estimates in half!
