Disneyland Hotel or Disney's Paradise Pier?

We are going to Disneyland in November, should we stay at the Disneyland Hotel or Disney's Paradise Pier & why?

DLH. It's closer and the themeing and headboards are awesome. And the construction should be done on everything except the Neverland pool (which is small). The pool area where the cove pools used to be should be done.

I would stay at the DLH unless the price deters you. It's about 10% more than the PPH.

I've stayed at DLH when I was 15, right after my dads wedding in 2003. My step-sister and I had our own room and my dad and his wife had their own room. The Character call was kinda cool... and the hotel was beautiful... but to be honest... I didn't think it was that amazing. So when remembering the trip I don't plan to pay those prices... I would rather stay at PPH if I was going to stay onsite.
Then again, that was 8 years ago and DLH I'm sure has changed/improved since then.

I've stayed at both.. And I love both.. But if I were to choose that now it would be the Disneyland Hotel.. mainly because DD and I love the Peter Pan themed pool area. LOL
