Disneyland Hotel - Leaving Scooter at Bell Desk?

Hi, hoping some folks have experience with this --- I understand only Scooterbug rentals can be dropped off / left for final pickup at bell desk without the guest present.

My question is - If you are leaving the Disneyland Hotel (say, visiting family in another city, heading to the beach or going to offsite restaurant), can you leave a rented scooter (not from Scooterbug) with Bell Desk?

@disneychrista - scooter is needed to get from the DVC room to hotel entrance / parking - it's not an easy walk for some folks with mobility issues.

I understand that. If only one person is needing a scooter, then another person takes the scooter back to the room, while the person who does need the scooter waits in the lobby. Not ideal, I understand. It is unlikely that the hotel will "hold" the scooter if it is not from Scooterbug, since that is the only company they work with. This sounds like something you might need to call and speak with the hotel directly about.
