Disneyland Hotel furniture

I was just thinking about the Disneyland Hotel remodel and then I was thinking about the adorable Character Quarters themed rooms that they don't offer any more, and I was wondering if anyone knows what Disney does with all of the furniture when they remodel the rooms and when they discontinue offering a themed room?
Wouldn't it be so fun to have one of those armoires with the park map on the doors?

I don't know about the furniture but I saw some video clip yesterday when I was researching the DLH remodel and they are giving the bathtubs to Habitat for Humanity. Which I think is great!

I'd love one of those headboards from the old style DLH rooms.

I have been trying to find one of their comforters for years! They were SOO cute with all the different rides. Of course, there would have to be some major decontam before we would use it...

Have you checked ebay? I think a few of the CMs could have some business ideas and see the opportunity.

We just won a bedroom set of the old Disneyland Hotel furniture in a silent auction at the D23 convention. We are now trying to find the history of the furniture....when it was first used etc...

I bought some of the old Disneyland Hotel room numbers, pictures and lamps (The wood one with the Mickey Head) from www.ownthemagic.com.
Now just to find the cash to buy the Madame Leota ball from HM.
