Hi Everyone

Just seen that Disneyland Hotel has bookings open for October 2022.

I went and had a play on the Disney site to see what the cost would be like for accommodation and tickets.

Here is where I am not sure if I am correct in regards to tickets/reservations. Is it correct that if you book accommodation and tickets then you already have reservation for the days that you have tickets? and don't need to do anything else.

I went back to just check the price of tickets minus the accommodation and I could see the price of tickets and the days i wanted
but the dates not available to reserve.

Also can you guys confirm that if you book direct with Disney and you see a better rate you can ring them and get a better rate?

I booked my trip for next month directly with Disney and I still had to go in and make my park reservations. I couldn't book my park reservations until the tickets loaded.
You are correct about calling Disney if tbe price goes down on your booking. If the lesser price is available they will apply the discount.

I don't think this is accurate. I looked at the same thing today, and I recall seeing that you still had to reserve your park days on your tickets separately. I decided to book hotel only and to buy tickets later. For funsies, I then went into the ticketing system and pretended like I was going to buy a five-day ticket now, and I did get the opportunity to select five reservation days in a row up until December of this year (I didn't and just closed out).

Since then, my resort reservation has updated in my Disneyland app, and it says park reservation dates for my June 2022 stay will become available after April 1.

I booked both tickets and a room yesterday for November 2022. As it was explained to me, one advantage of adding the tickets to the initial reservation is that the deposit is SIGNIFICANTLY less than if you book them separately.
We have a suite for five nights and four-day park hoppers for six people, but my credit card was only charged $200. I booked rooms only early last year, and the deposit was more than $2,000.
Of course, there are some different cancellation policies for packages, so you have to be aware of those. But I'd ratehr be making money in the stock market for the next 15 months than letting Disney have it!

That is what Disney charges as a down-payment for packages. If you book a room only you are charged the cost of 1 night and the balance is due when you check in. The final payment for the package is due 30 days prior to your arrival date.
