Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend 2025 (September 4-7)

While A may have been a bit smaller, but there was more than just elites in it. For such a fast time, I think they should do POT .

ugh kinda what I figured. I saw challenge bib photos posted with A | D which just doesn’t make sense. Regretting signing up for the challenge now in January. Or at least not lying about my 10k time.

Is this the first weekend for the 6-7 min pace estimate for the 5k & 10k? Do we know how that is playing out? Is it just elites or did everyone that puts 6-8 just put 6-7?

Wine and Dine is the first weekend with the new pace estimates. I am VERY interested in seeing how it plays out because we should only be seeing maybe 100 people max in the <7 min corral but we know how this goes.

I think it was the same as at Springtime. There was the white one that was the tech type material, and then a blue regular Spirit jersey. I don’t have a picture. All the core line looked the same to me.

I forget what the exact pace requirements were for this race, but I was what I felt was a properly sorted B/A for the Challenge, was released in the middle of the B corral release (i think we were only one wave) and I passed SO many people walking from A and B right out of the gate. It was a far larger percentage than should've reasonable been sorted to those 2 corrals.

In other news, I don't know if they did this for the Jan race, but I really loved them having Hollywood Land later in the race. I thought it provided a more fair opportunity to everyone to get a photo with the race headliner. (In this case Cruella.)

If it matters to anyone, the pacers will be slower by 1 pace group tomorrow due to forecasted temperatures. I.E. the 2:30 pacers will be pacing for 2:40.

Was surprised by the lack of photopass in front of Falcon it seems like usually any time we’ve gone in front of it they’ve been sent up.

Also no one ever talks about it but I’ve seen them do it in the past for non weather reasons in Florida before I made the jump to wheels and was slower I was in front of one of those cuts. If you drop far enough back and they need to get people past a certain point they’ll turn you doesn’t matter where it is. They have to open the parks up on both coasts and untimed doesn’t mean unlimited.

And If I understand this correctly they were opening up California Adventure at 7:30 for onsite guests on Friday, an hour earlier than Epcot's usual early entry. It's been mentioned here about how they apparently push people to maintain the 16 min pace more at the DL 5k’s but they really do not have a lot of wiggle room to get people out before having to open that park.

Also there was no coast to coast merch. Which was sad to me because I like this medal/theme. Last year the medal was not to my liking so the merch wasn't even tempting.

So I did my first half and challenge today and I just have to say I’m wildly impressed with those who have done a marathon, I can’t imagine doing double this.

Also to those who’ve done Dopey… are you guys ok? This is a safe space

lol. When I did the WDW Marathon I crossed start line at 5:05 and finished at 10:10 so I ran it in 5:05.

The selection was a joke. They sold out of car magnets in the first day? They should’ve ordered AT LEAST enough for each runner to get one. The quality was bad as well. I forced myself to buy a long sleeve hoodie. I saw a black jacket with black lettering which was completely unreadable for full price.

yeah but season ends with wine and dine...after that it will be new coast to coast medal. they may keep this design but the design has 2025 listed on it....so that will have to change.

now all of us here in disneyland have no opportunity to buy any gear...i know they had some before because i can see the listed for 1000% on ebay
