Just got to our hotel and checked in. Grateful they had a room for us. I joined the VQ when we landed. I think we are group 172. Does anyone know if they have a separate entrance to the merch area for pre-order pick ups like they did at MW? That was the hack to skip the VQ and go right in.

The Halloween lime flavor was more appealing, but mango/vanilla isn't too bad.

I've heard other reports of the same happening. It's the usual business with non-POT, also not sure but I think the 5k might have fewer corrals.

Just to be clear on this, they're definitely not doing the same thing with Dumbo corrals that they were doing with Dopey, you can have different corrals for the 10k and half. I think it's a different group managing corrals for these races.

It is. We actually had a manager just ask what we were in line for. She pulled us out of line and told us what was going on. She said lots of people are having this issue because lots of people lied on their times. She confirmed that it is a different group managing corrals for Disneyland than Disney World. She said at Disney World, rD told the group managing the corrals how many they wanted in each corral. So they could also adjust groups for people who got put in wrong groups. She said here, they were told how many go in each group, and really couldn’t do much to change groups. Super nice CM and after chatting with her for about twenty minutes, she told me to hold on. She came back with a sticker for my bib and changed my 10k group to A. Very thankful for her. Pretty cool gesture to start the weekend.

If they don't have the size you want in the women's cut, try the men's version of your size.

Much more variety in the general rD stuff. Loved that. Grabbed a few things. Really just wanted a Dumbo pin but those were no where to be found. Tons of people asking CM’s for them.

I fly in Sat morning. Luckily I don’t love any of the merch. I do like purple so of the Peanuts shirt is still there when I go, I may get it. Not doing Dumbo but it’s still cute. But not so amazingly cute I’ll be upset if it’s not available either. I did get my C2C pin in Florida. Now here’s hoping my knee holds up so I earn it!

To each their own couldn’t stand the keylime. Loved this one.

If only there was a way that they could manage this better. Like, a proof of time for the shorter races, maybe.

Runner relations at the Expo was super nice and helpful for me today! I had a POT submitted for the Half. Got my kids’ bibs for the 10K and they are in Corral C. Got my bib and I was in E/C. I went to them to ask if there was anything they could do since I had a POT. They explained I was separated from my kids because I was in a different race in the system and my POT meant nothing for the 10K. However, the person working with me moved me to C since my kids were in it. (And it probably helped that my Half Corral placement put me in C, as well.) She said if C was full she was going to move us all to D. I know the kids could’ve moved back to E with me, but I’m grateful they don’t have to now.

Just wanted to share a positive experience with getting corrals switched and how runner relations handled my question.

Different waiting experience for this 5k! As expected, but interesting. They held people outside the resort gates until 3:20ish, then outside security until 3:30, and now outside the DL gates. So used to waiting around in parking lot start villages.
