Looks like this finally sold out today
Last year they opened up reservations in September, but I think people have heard from CMs that it might be earlier this yearDumbo and the half have been back open since yesterday (I think). I keep debating whether to sign up.
Anyone know when they will open up resort hotel reservations for next year?
I called a couple of weeks ago and the reservation agent told me to check back in AugustLast year they opened up reservations in September, but I think people have heard from CMs that it might be earlier this year
I stayed at CCI in January and was also flying out Sunday, thought not that early. You can walk a block or so with your luggage and have them meet you at that new location. Harbor going by CCI was open, but I didn't know if vehicles could access the other roads to get to that side of Harbor. I walked to the Anaheim Portofino Inn (though there are numerous hotels on that side of Harbor) and then requested an Uber. Katella eastbound should be open and if so, the shuttle can use backroads to get there.Question: we are staying at the Candy Cane Inn on Harbor for the race. My DD is running the 10k. Our flight leaves Sunday morning so we will have to leave around 7am to get to the airport. I use Lansky. With road closures is that even a possibility?
I’m also very close but have nagging injury issues losing that amount if I couldn’t run would be very hard to swallow…… but ……….Hey y'all - I see everything is pretty much sold out with the exception of the Dumbo Double... THIS close to signing up for it but goodness the price is steeeeep...
Half Marathon has opened up if you're looking for a cheaper option! Kids races also briefly opened up, but appears to be sold out again.Hey y'all - I see everything is pretty much sold out with the exception of the Dumbo Double... but the Half Marathon and Dumbo Double!
Springtime is typically slower to sell out. I think the challenge and 10-Miler have stayed open for days before, and the 10-Miler may have never closed once or twice. I think it is the heat of April and hotel prices are more expensive then too.I'm noticing that the Springtime 10 miler and challenge have yet to close, as well. I'm wondering what's going on? Did they increase capacity back to pre-pandemic levels? Did prices go up too high? Is it too warm in April? Something else?
Whatever the reason, I hope that the day will return when races do not sell out within hours. So many times, I meet people who hear about runDisney and get really excited for the next race in California only to discover that it sold out within hours of registration opening.Did they increase capacity back to pre-pandemic levels?
