My husband and kids booked a back up flight Friday into LAX. Original flight has them leaving Wisconsin at 425p into SNA but we are forecasted for 6-10 inches of snow. The new flight leaves at 11:53am same day. I think my husband is going to wait until morning of to decide which flight. Is their best option to Uber/lyft from LAX to Disneyland? My kids are 5 and 7 so they’ll have car seats. Just wondering if there is a better option or something similar to the the busses at WDW. Not having to bring their car seats would be nice. I see they will have to take a shuttle to the rideshare area.

Like others have said the shuttles aren’t really around anymore. I’ve never done it from LAX or have kids so I’m not 100 percent sure how this works but I know there should be an option when booking a lot of times when booking for car seats.here’s the info if you need it: https://www.uber.com/us/en/ride/car-seat/

Yeah I follow my Apple Watch. Almost without fail gets me a top 10 BG for guardians and Tron…rise when that existed. For some reason I’m terrible with the expo.

Got boarding group 4, wohoo! It does say estimated wait of 145 minutes from now, which would imply 9:30, but the expo opens at 10. So we need to be there at 9:30?

Expo does occasionally open early. This used to happen frequently pre VQ. Not sure so much now with with the VQ. And with an early VQ this wouldn’t surprise me at all if you did get in 9:30

Huh not entirely sure but I’m guessing that’s an aisle chair. Not all airlines fly with one. But if they do it is a fairly important piece of accessibility because it allows chair users who can’t just get up and walk to be able to get out of their seats if need be without having to pull themselves across the floor.

A bit surprised that the airline has the level of integrity to wait on until they have one on board before taking off. Most aren’t that good at that. But still nice. Do you mind passing on who you were flying? Definitely want to note that for the future. I don’t need an aisle chair ftr but still good to know

Thanks guess AA is trying to do something better after the fiasco of their people literally launching personal chairs down a ramp while laughing and damaging them a few months back. Which is good.

Same. I do the Apple Watch thing at 6:59:59 and for rides, no problem, always in with a low number. Expos, not so much. Got 36 today which isn't terrible, but with the anticipated demand for this one, I really wanted to be one of the first groups called. Thankfully I have my important stuff preordered.

This is getting real! No BG for me as I’m only leaving San Diego at lunch. Plan to hit the expo before dinner but if it’s still crazy may wait until Saturday. I pre ordered what I wanted so I think I will be good.

My travel luck has been tested this morning… 30 minutes into Amtrak ride from San Diego they announced an accident on the tracks would delay us at least 3 hours. Several other passengers and I shared an Uber to a Oceanside, where we ran onto a metrolink that will get me into Orange. I’m determined to make it to the expo on time but my RHR is taking a hit in the process
