Ugh, I was going to try to snag the Double Dare but I was in the shower when registration opened. Oh well, if it's only meant for me to do the half, so be it.

Yes - but I’m still not 100% sure I’m going to do MW. After I didn’t get in to DL originally I booked W&D so not sure about 3 weekends in 2 months!

But who am I kidding - I will probably be part of registration madness in a couple of weeks.

Somehow got Dumbo for myself and 2 half spots for some others in our group! Pumped especially after the disappointment of not making it in initially!

Stupid question: is Wondrous Journeys the only show that can have fireworks? Like F! and WoC don't ever have anything splodey?

Fantasmic has some fireworks that go off with the show. It’s not continuous but they are definitely there. I was lined up with right where some of them were going off a couple of weeks ago. And boy were they hard to miss

WAFDL: Honestly the two things I want back are the old cars that used to line up. I have a photo from 2015 I think with the Delorian someone had. And it’s still an fav of mine.

And I guess not back but changed is Avengers campus.

Also how swamped merch was definitely your mileage will vary. Inaugural Dumbo was bad for merch. I still remember a bunch of people huddling around the bright green sweatshirts trying to grab them as the racks came out. I ended up having to get my I Did it from EBay because I couldn’t seem to get my hands on one

I got in for the double dare! I’m so excited! Just need to get my half registration refunded and ponder what to do about my flight. As it stands I’m getting in Friday at 8pm from the east coast. Not ideal and I’d have to bank on race morning pick up. This really is an unhealthy obsession.

I would definitely try getting a flight sometime Thursday. Even if it’s late. Will rD probably have unofficial morning pickup? Yes. But I wouldn’t want to risk something going wrong with the flight or the flight getting delayed, cancelled or anything.

I know they’ve had morning-of pick-up in the past, and I can’t imagine them not doing that now. It’s more of a necessary thing at Disneyland because WDW has more runners using it as a vacation, while Disneyland draws on the “local” community (I.e. people who may be working during the expo and driving in the night before or the morning of to participate). You can always call runDisney and ask (they should know already).

Good morning! It's Wednesday, and that means another episode of The Mandalorian

WAFDL: Now that's it's spring, and this weather should be getting warmer (sorry anyone living west of The Mississippi), do you have any organized races to start the season? I'll count Springtime Surprise next weekend.

My DW is running The Broad Street 10 Miler iin Philadelphia at the end of this month. She loves that race! Straight shot down Broad Street, and only 4 turns in the entire course. After that, maybe run on the treadmill or early mornings as the weather holds up.
