Does anyone have the email address you would use to send a commendation to Disney for exceptional customer service? When we were at Carthay Circle saturday night, the manager went out of his way to resolve what was a very difficult, and well quite frankly a disgusting situation caused by the people sitting next to us, and I really would like to send a complimentary email for the service the manager and server gave us despite the ongoing situation with the other party. The only form I found though seems to only deal with questions about the park, so I want to make sure it goes to the right people.

When you go to the DL webpage, there is a "contact us" link at the bottom of the page. Click on that and you'll find the email form. We use that form regularly for CM compliments (use the heading "Cast Member Compliment" to start your message) and receive responses, usually by phone, letting us know that our comment will go to the right supervisor.

Am I the only one that wants to know what happened? LOL

Here's the short and dirty of it.

We had a 6pm reservation for the WoC dining package. Got seated around 6:15 in the back, was one of those tables where one side is booth, other side is chair. On my left side was the party from hell. Had a feeling from the getgo it was not going to be fun as the mother was knocking off a bottle of wine by herself. Husband just seemed way out there. Also two kids. The older one wasn't too horrible, mainly messing with a cell phone. The younger, which i'm pegging to be in the 3-4yo range based on his size was out of control though. Started with just tearing up and throwing bread all over the floor. Then running around the table back and forth. Around this time, Mommy mentioned she was Disney drunk. A little while later, the younger kid (mind you, this kid also was alternating sucking on a binky, which i thought was a little odd for his age) decides he's going to protest something and sit in the middle of the floor where everyone has to walk. A few minutes later, he gets back up on the booth and starts jumping all around. Since it was a shared booth, I felt every single vibration from every jump, and the mother didn't even care. Kept sipping her wine, and every few minutes calling the poor waitress back to ask for something else.

Around this time, we're mostly done with our main course, and the jumping hasn't stopped. Mommy is almost bragging about how she's pounding a bottle of wine despite being on prescription antibiotics and codeine. I finally had enough and go to let the manager know. While I'm downstairs, the kid decides he's going to start pulling his pants down, grabbing his junk and gyrate around. Mother thinks it's hilarious and loudly calls him a perv, and loudly states either the kid or the father (my wife was pretty much in tears at this point and heading down stairs to let me know she wanted to pay and get out despite not eating dessert yet) is a-sexual.

I let Aaron, the manager know what was going on and let him know we just wanted to pay and head out at this point. He has me come upstairs, confirm the party, has a quick chat with the waitress, I'm assuming to confirm what I told him was true, and comped our meal and gave us the woc tickets. Was not expecting that whatsoever as I never even asked for a comp of any sort. I just wanted to get away from the family from hell before I snapped and said something nasty.

Hopefully they kicked them out. The waitress (as well as everyone else) shouldn't have to deal with that.

I was expecting some projectile vomiting or something due to your wording of "disgusting", but I wonder where the waitress or security was that should have told them to tone it down.

I'm so sorry your special meal was ruined. That type of stuff just can't be ignored no matter how hard you try. I'm glad Disney made it right for your family.

Wow.

You definitely put up with it a shade longer than my own husband would have. I, too, wonder why the wait staff didn't alert the manager to the problem prior to your having to do so, but I think it's lovely that he comped your meal. Those unexpected courtesies go a long way in removing the sting of an unfortunate experience.

Probably should have said morally disgusting. Not cool to happily call your toddler a pervert and let him do a horrible michael jackson impersonation in a restaurant when people are trying to enjoy a nice meal.

I chalk it up to working IT in a county jail for 5 years before taking a promotion and having to go into the housing units where inmates are kept at constantly to fix the deputies computers. When new words get invented to describe you, your patience level goes up lol.

Or at the very least if she recognized what was happened she should have asked if you'd like to move to another open table.

Moving really wasn't much of an option. There were a few open tables, but most of them were essentially on the other side of that family. And as a party of two, no matter how bad it was, I wouldn't want to take over a larger table that can be used for a party of 5+

That sounds terrible. Glad they were able to help you out. I'm sure my family isn't perfect, but that kids and his mom sound like nightmares.

Honestly, I felt sorry for the kids. It was pretty obvious she was more interested in being drunk then the kids. Father just looked spaced out drinking his tea.
