Disneyland Good Friday 2016

Pretty sure I already know the answer but I'm going to ask anyway. I don't get many holidays off, 3 to be exact, and I always try to schedule a long weekend around them. Good Friday happens to be one I do get off and was considering hitting up DL and CA and maybe Universal over a Thursday night, Friday, Saturday, and then returning home late Sunday.

How unbearably crowded would the parks be over that weekend which I believe will be March 24-27?

I don't know the answer to your question but I just wanted to say that there are ways of dealing with all levels of crowds so if DL & DCA is something you want to do, go for it! Park hoppers, early mornings, fastpasses, single rider lines (unless you have little children) all help on crowded days. With regards to Universal I'd consider nixing that one. You can totally spend 3 days bouncing between DL & DCA, but the main reason is Harry Potter. No opening date has been announced, the last rumors I saw said March (but it's been awhile since I saw that). If HP is open over Easter it will be a NUTHOUSE at Universal.
