Hi All!!!

I got home about an hour ago. I can't believe our time together is already over. I'm in for next year as long as I'm not out of the country  .

There are so many things that were my favorite times from the trip. But here's a picture of one of the items that was awesome.

He said he'd be back for next year's Food and Wine Festival as well....only time will tell though.

I'll be on with lots more details of the trip later tonight. I have laundry, dishes, house cleaning  .... you get the idea.

DD, who is 6, and I are frequently there Friday afternoons. She's in Kindergarten and by the end of the week are in need of our Disney Fix! So, if either of you want to join us, we'd love to have you. She gets so excited when we meet other people there, and especially likes younger kids.

As far as WDW, maybe I'm a freak, but I LOVED Chef Mickeys, both the dinner and brunch that we had. I was not terribly impressed with the steakhouse in the Contemporary. We always have had a great time at the Tempanyaki (I prob. butchered that one, sorry) steakhouse in Japan. I liked Alfredos the number of times we've been, and oddly enough I REALLY enjoyed the buffet at the German pavillion, but we missed the show. I haven't been myself, but have heard great things about the food in Morocco.

Michelle: I'm going to be at DLR (I think) this Fri. nite! I'll let you know for sure later this week . . . . would love to meet Zoe too!

I hope another trip is planned in the future- I'd love to join in!

Great pic Steph! You really deserved it after standing in the hot sun for so long (Lynn too!) Did everyone get to take a pic?

Enjoyed breakfast with you and see you next year (and here virtually on the Dis!)

Yeah everyone was able to meet with him which was very nice. I know Lynn was in line longer than I was. I just couldn't get over how hot it was on Sat. Yesterday was nicer, I think because of the breeze.

It was nice to meet you as well. I look forward to talking to you here and seeing you next year.

GREAT pic Steph! How fun!

We'd love to meet the famous Zoe! Let's set something up.

Wow, I've got the Sound of Music song "These are a few of my favorite things", as there are so many things I loved about this weekend......

Turtle Talk with Crush where Cheryl asked Crush about dating advice! :happytv:

Please tell- what did she ask? :rotfl:

My favorite two things were:
1. Everyone I met and had time to chat with (but so sad I missed Beth)
2. Every single minute with JD and the whole VIP experience:goodvibes

Ditto to your #2 Linda! He was so fantastic! (Ditto to #1 too. :goodvibes )

I am going to need the longest vacation ever after this weekend!!!:scared1:

I did two days at DLR, then on to the Renaissance Faire to go work in the heat :rotfl2: <------ smiley isn't laughing he is convulsing from the heat :lmao:

I had an amazing time, meeting everyone, the Food and Wine fun and getting to do the VIP tour was just GREAT!!! I am so happy I did this! I am going to do a little TR later since I kind of meander off and did some fun side things.

If I had to pick just one best thing besides meeting everyone I would have to say our ride through the POTC with JD. That was so much fun!! Next would be the Lilly Belle!!!

Heather, how the the Faire? I had so much fun hanging out with you. I completely agree that Pirates with JD was a highlight!

(1) Meeting and being with all the great Ladies! By far the number one thing

and then in no official order......

Riding Tower of Terror for the first time, and then riding it again with our tour and taking the cel phone picture

Dinner at Jazz Kitchen...it was fun meeting up with everyone for our first "official event", and I LOVED the food...though note to self....the Bananna Foster wonderful tableside made desert is 16.50 :scared1: I was excited that Lorealle was able to join us for that one.

Being silly at Goofy's breakfast...even though the characters could have come around alot earlier, I loved visiting and being silly with the ladies.

The VIP tour (except subtract the 40 minutes I was gone at first aid because of my thumb), especially the ToT and Pirates and Lillybelle.

Turtle Talk with Crush where Cheryl asked Crush about dating advice! :happytv:

The hard part is I want to make plans to meet up with everyone again right away, and I want to "invite myself" along to see all the ladies when they make DLR plans (like, you, Beth!).

Oh, and a couple of new DLR Ladies mottos.....(for you Amy and Stacy)...."What cute pants", "Gotta Try", and "It's All Good"!

Oh ya, that was funny!

So when is our next DL trip?!

I'll be going to DCA on Friday and then DL the next Friday if anyone happens to be at the parks.

Maybe for our next time we can have it in January? It's cooler and dead quiet. Plus I have no school the entire month :lmao:

Nice Pic, Steph! Congrats to you and Lynn for meeting Guy Fieri. What was he talking about at Food & Wine?

I had a great time meeting you at the Carnation Gardens lunch. I guess next time I'm going to have to sign up for more group activities, so I can meet more wonderful DIS girls.

I loved the VIP tour. The Lilly Belle was a highlight, as was watching Dagny get soaked on Splash! It was Disneyland's revenge because she keeps making fun of our 'tiny' castle. (Just a note to Disneyland - I LOVE our castle, why did you soak me too?:rotfl: )

It was so fun to meet many of you. The Billy Hill show was fun, closing down the park was fun! I would have loved to get to know more of you, and I hope we can do a couple of 'local' meets.

On Saturday, Lauren and I did a mainly no park day. We went up to Hollywood and got 1/2 price tickets for the matinee of "Wicked". We had isle seats in the second row of the mezzanine. Perfect! We walked around Hollywood and gawked at the stars in the sidewalk, took pics of the Hollywood sign. We even used the subway (our E ticket ride of the day). We went to Grauman's Chinese Theatre, the Kodak Theater and had an early dinner at Disney's Soda shop which is right next door to the El Capitan Theater. It was a fabulous day. We did make it back to the park in time for reserved seating for the Saturday fireworks. I'm so sorry I didn't introduce myself to everyone. The heat had totally wiped me out. But still, I promise to do better in getting to know you all.:goodvibes I can't believe Beth was at the Fireworks and I never even said hi. I'm sorry.:flower3: After that we finally went back to the room and had the wine party. I know a lot of you were already enjoying wine that night. I only had one or two numbers programed in my phone and I sent out a few texts. Didn't mean to exclude anyone. We kept it going until about 2:30 in the morning - sorry whoever was in room 415.

Someone from Nevada was calling my cell, and I returned the call and got a very confused man that was on the Jungle Cruise (I could tell because they were saying "don't try this at home or you would hit your head on the faucet" ) So whomever was calling me - sorry I did try to return your call.

Sunday was just unbearably hot (to me), and I left after the parade. Ended up coming home sick with some sort of sinus thing. My nose is completely stuffed and running at the same time. How can that even happen? Perhaps I started getting it early on, cause i was not my usual perky self this trip. Still I hope to meet you all again, and get to know more of you.

DIS girls are the best!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I think that was Beth's husband. She was calling several people earlier in the day when she arrived. I know he was on the Jungle cruise before he met up with up us for Fantasmic.

I'm sorry you you aren't feeling well :flower3: . I'm not feeling too good today either. I think it's because I had to come back to work :upsidedow .

No fair Steph! I so wanted to meet Guy. Great pic. Glad you had a great time.

I'm just checking in real quick to say what a wonderful trip I had. I'm still busy at work, but I wanted to poke my head in to see if everyone made it home safe. I met a lot of great ladies and I hope I'll be able to make it to the next trip.

I'm home now from Big Bear and I just wanted to say I had a great time and I loved meeting all the "girls". I will post later my highlights and such of the trip. I have tons of laundry to do and got to get myself a reality check back to the real world. Till later!!!

NEW TAG ALERT!

I am now officially "Drive-by Girl" :rotfl:
:lmao: That's great! I love it!! I was hoping you'd get tagged with that. :rolleyes1

Okay for those of you that are back already...pick the one thing that was your very favorite during the trip. It can be a ride, a treat, an experience, whatever you want!
For me, it was meeting everyone. I was only able to be there one day (better then none though!) and I was thrilled. I couldn't care less about the rides, it was these fun, nice ladies who made it one of the best days I've had at DL!! :goodvibes

Omigosh! The Tag Fairy likes me too!!!! THANK YOU Tag Fairy!!!

So excited ...so excited ...so excited......!!!!!!!!!:dance3:
I see that!! YAY! Congrats. I think it would be funny if you got something about how you were flirting with Crush.....:rolleyes1 :rotfl:

HI LADIES!!!!!

I had such a wonderful time and it was so much fun to meet all of you! I'm so excited to have some new Disney friends and hope all of you will PM me when you're in the area, since I'm local and always up for a Disney day! I am sad that I didn't get to know to EVERYONE as much as I would've liked. But now that I know who you are, hopefully we can get to know each other better on the boards. :goodvibes
Hi, I'd love to meet up with you sometime since I wasn't able to this time. Congrats on booking your Orlando trip! How fun.

I did two days at DLR, then on to the Renaissance Faire to go work in the heat :rotfl2: <------ smiley isn't laughing he is convulsing from the heat :lmao:
OMG, you poor thing. I don't know how you did it out there!!

Hello Ladies,

I'm glad I got to meet some of you at the House of Blues dinner. I was really happy to have met our DIS Guardian Angel- Mary Jo. :yay: :woohoo: :dance3: I didn't get the chance to talk to everyone since I was a bit nervous and shy. :flower3:
It was so nice to meet you! And I thought you were very sweet. :)

LOVED the VIP tour!
House of Blues was fun, everyone was chatty and I got to know our newest Hyena a little more... Hi Sarah! :goodvibes

I know I didn't hang out with the ladies as much, it was also our Hyena meet -- it's rare to have so many of us together!

I'm in for a seond round of ladies only meet :thumbsup2 .. by then I won't be local:upsidedow
HOB was fun. I'm glad I was able to go to that dinner so I was able to meet some of the famous hyenas! That's cool you were all able to hook up.

Hi All!!!

I love the pic of you and Guy!! It came out great! :thumbsup2

Oh there definitely will be. And we'd love to have more ladies join in.

Hi Chris! That's ok. It sounds like you and Lauren had a wonderful day out. I'm so jealous. That's great though. I totally understand about the heat. I was a little more quiet then I usually am too. I generally don't shut up but this time I think the heat was just too draining.

Oh, and that was my husband you called on the cruise! :lmao: Earlier he was trying to reach me but my phone was off. So he started calling some of the other numbers hoping to find someone I was with. He said someone had called him back but he was on the ride and couldn't hear. :rotfl:

Hi Katie! It was so nice to meet you, even though you tried to trick us all with that pic in your sig....:rolleyes1

;) :rotfl:

Hi Stacie. Sorry I wasn't able to meet you. Good luck getting back to reality. That's never fun to do after a vacation.

It was so cool meeting every one I think it woud be really cool to try and set up some more frequent "locals" day/s, that maybe others can also do. Maybe a day in the park and dinner once a month or every other month. With one day its not as hard to find babysitters for the kids or even bring them along!

Shelly (castleeto) I had a great time hanging out with you too! I am so glad we did Space Mountain!

Beth I am so sorry I missed meeting you, but am so glad you got to come out!!!

I am sad though that in the end I lost my little bunny :( But I think some wonderful child found it and loves it and I am going to stick to that story haha!

ETA- Hey I scored a Tag Fairy treat! WOOO HOOO!!! I do like me the bunnies!!! Funny tag since you might not know I have bunnies tattoo on my back hehe!

No time to post a whole lot yet, it's taken me almost an hour just to get caught up, and now I have to run out again! It was SO MUCH FUN this weekend! I now know that there are other women who are even more obsessed with Disney than I am, not that my DH would believe that!!!:rotfl2:

I wish we all could have been there for a week, could you imagine the havoc!?! My DD, Christine, had a lot of fun too, and loved meeting all those that she did. And a HUGE TY to Cheryl for the store trip, it was awesome!!! And Callie and Ellen, what can I say? We'll definitely do that again, SOON!!

Time to go, but I'll be back!!! :woohoo:

Oh, and we got dreamed yesterday!!! Callie, Ellen and I!!! All we got were dream fastpasses, but the CM who gave them to us had given the Dream Suite earlier in the day!! Too bad she couldn't have waited for us!!! :cloud9:
