Well this could happen as I tried to get us a holiday to Orlando departing 26 or 27 December and I could get us there but not back before 5th Jan :(:(

Soooooo me thinking positively I looked up to see if there were any holidays to Disneyland - and I got this.....

Virgin Premium Economy to Hyatt Regency in Orange County

£1800 for the 2 of us for 7 nights - what do you all think?

Is this a good hotel does anyone know?

I would go for it. I'm just back, if you haven't already seen my post. I thoroughly recommend the resort, but have you investigated staying at a Disney hotel? We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel, which was very very nice but we were also very taken with the Grand Californian. I know it is Christmas, but for the few days it might be worth it. Also, you can get some discounts sometimes for DLR, California with Disney club.

I'd try those options, but I would definitely visit. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Unfotunately this is a package with Virgin and they don't have any availability with either the Disneyland hotels so we're gonna give the whole thing a miss - because in our heart of hearts we really want to be in WDW and it seems silly to spend the money on a place where we really don't want to be.

But thanks anyway for your input I definately want to go to Disneyland at some point.
