If we take the DLE from John Wayne to the Tropicana Inn and Suites...any guesstimates how long it may take? Our flight would land at 10:30 am on a Sunday...

We would prefer to take it so we don't have to deal with car seats and because it would be a little cheaper for us I think than any other option (We have 2 adults, a 6 year old, and a 2 year old). But the whole reason we are flying that morning instead of just driving (an 8 hour trip for us) is to save time and get a few more hours in the park that day....so if the DLE is going to eat up all our extra time or take hours... then I don't know...?

I know they leave the airport every hour/half hour but do they make a thousand stops? LOL

I have done this trip for our two trips. Same airport and hotel. It took about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. It went by quickly. :) I have been told a cab is faster but then you'd need car seats.

We just did this 8 days ago. Actual transfer time was just under an hour. Note though, that does not include the wait time until the vehicle shows.

We prepaid for the Disney Resort Express transfers with our Disney Travel Vacation package.

I admit, the voucher did say "full size" bus. However, when a very nice van pulled up asking if we were going to Disney and had Disney Express printed all over the van I said "Yes! That's us." Never thought to question van vs bus.

Once we got to the resort, the driver was looking for cash, I offered him our pre-paid vouchers. T-H-E-N we discover there about apparently 7 different "Disney Express" transfer services from LAX!! In my excitment, I simply saw the words I wanted to see and thought all was good. My prepaid voucher was NOT for the transfer I took. In the end it worked out. In no way did it spoil our trip. We were VERY careful on the return!

All this to say - if you prepay for a transfer, make sure you verify at the time of pickup you are boarding the proper vehicle! pirate:pirate:
