If, up to maybe a half hour ago, it was raining in Anaheim as heavily as it was about 40 miles North, it must have been crazy :scared: for those waiting to enter Disneyland. I wonder how the crowd level on a holiday will be affected by this storm.

well my son and i are leaving shortly to head up there and check in, will let ya know when we get back how it was. . i'm hoping for a dead zone with the rain!

It's nice and sunny right now in Costa Mesa :) It was pouring when we woke up with crazy winds, but it looks like [for now] it's fairly nice out

we walked on buzz, pirates, small world, and a bunch of others. We kind of lucked out, poured all the way up, checked into the hotel, decided to head over to the Land and heard thunder and then it poured again, by the time we got downstairs it had stopped! we had a BEAUTIFUL afternoon! Today however it rained the first hour or so we were there, once the rain stopped the park started getting busy. . .

If the OP is referring to yesterday, Presidents' Day, Disneyland closed early, both Fantasmic! shows were canceled and the fireworks show was moved up to just before (new) closing time.

We were there yesterday (President's Day). I think the rain really helped reduce the holiday crowds. We were in line for opening at 7:45am, and there was hardly anyone there. It was POURING. It rained pretty steadily until about 3:30, then it was beautiful until about 8pm when it showered off & on. I would call the rain at one point torrential. :) We had fun & I'll take the rain over the crowds any day. The early park closure did suck, but luckily the crowds were so light that we were able to get on everything & get done early.

This is the first year we've started planning trips at more peak times, because my husband has just started teaching & is now only off when everyone else is. :( My vote between rain & crowds is definitely rain!!

Hmm....They haven't closed early in a LONG time, I am surprised that they would do that, it results in A LOT of unhappy guests. There must have been a lot of rain for them to do that, I didn't think we had that much on Monday.
