Congrats Wendy! I am SO glad that you are going to DL! Even though I can't make it, I do want to be sure all the ladies in country do!

Sarah: imagine walking around all day carrying both of your kids. Your accomplishment is nothing short of awesome. You rock!!!

Cristabel: please don't beat yourself up. Just stick to the program. Follow the points. Period. It will work. You don't have to work off five hundred calories a day. Just stick to the points for now and you will see results. You
must track and count. And good job for going to weigh in as that shows commitment. Mistakes are ok. Just learn from them. You CAN do it!

Donna: good job onexercise!

I meant to do more at the gym today but I was feeling really fatigued so after 30 minutes I called it quits and went to my apt.

I was feeling a bit better until I arrived to my night class. I've been sneezing constantly and my nose is like a faucet. I'm congested, too :sick: I've sneezed four times while typing this!

I hope I feel better tomorrow but if I don't I'm going to my classes and then heading straight back to my apt to rest. I have to go home Friday morning because I have two doctors appointments. I'm taking the metrolink and have to be at the station at 6:20am! :scared1:

ugh, i hate being sick.
 
The elliptical said I burned 629 calories last night. I was sweating but my heart rate didn't get up as high as it should have...I will have to push harder tonight. Plus, after dinner I had like 7 points left so I measured out some chocolate chips and some un salted macadamia nuts and had those for a 7 point snack...it doesn't take too much to get to that many points! But they were tasty and I hear the oils in the macadamia nuts are good for me.

Take care and don't forget to drink the water...only 1 week until our trip...I should be on the super shuttle this time next week!

Great job on the elliptical, Sarah! Nuts really are healthy in so many ways.

Jen, thanks. It is really hard to watch what you eat when you are traveling, and here you are travelling almost all the time now. Just try to be good when you are at your home base. And use that cool gym!
 

Hey Cristabel, just wanted you to know that if I hadn't promised you that I would go to the gym yesterday I probably would have skipped it. As it was I did way lower intensity and stopped as soon as I hit 400 calories, but because of you I went!

I'm feeling pretty crummy right now. My runny/stuffy nose is gone but now I'm wheezy and coughing. I hope this thing ends this weekend. I would like to be in tip top health for the upcoming school week and for our trip!
 
Hope you are feeling better today Cristabel...I did not go to the gym yesterday due to the fact that my daughter was CRANKY! But I went first thing this morning so it is all done. Glenn is making me a new ST workout so I am looking forward to trying that. I am taking the kiddos into town this afternoon to the WW open house. My leader is leading the one today so it will be interesting to see what all is going on!

Well, I had another 1-pound loss this week. That brings my total to 17 pounds since January 4. I was hoping to get to the 20-pound mark by our trip, but I'll take what I can get.
I did great on my water today, but terrible on my food intake. My sis in law and I shared a bottle of red wine last night, and today we made (and ate) cookies. We are a terrible influence on each other!

I've been eating better and tracking what I put in my mouth. Today was a challenge. We went over my aunt's house to celebrate my cousin's 22nd birthday. My grandparents made menudo (SO FATTY) and Chile Rellenos (battered and fried stuffed with cheese!) and I did not have either! Yay! I stuck with beans (pinto & not fried), some white rice and 1/2 chicken breast. I did have cake but had a small slice with no ice cream. I was so proud of myself. I put down the cake as 7pts, is that reasonable?

I've just tallied up my dad and I'm short 8 points. I'm going to have 1 whole yam (put it in the oven for 1hr - 1hr 30 min and it's SOOO good) for 4 pts and 1 cup of 1% milk for 3 pts and I'll have one point left so I'll probably have a fruit

I've had about 4 - 6 cups of water today so I'm going to make sure I drink some more before I head to bed.

I'm bummed I wasn't able to keep working out this week because I was sick. I'm ready to hit the gym Mon - Wed for sure :woohoo:

Now, HOW WILL I SURVIVE DISNEYLAND?!?!

It's going to be quite a challenge for me! So far I have done well this week and am hoping for a good loss at weigh in tomorrow.

I did..up until Sunday. I did fine for breakfast (instant oatmeal with instant hot cocoa with water) and lunch (oven roasted chicken breast on wheat) but then I went to my pastor's house to use their sewing machine and they had :scared1: peach cobbler. I had two small servings but peach cobbler is so bad that it was probably really high in points and had some lumpia (Filipino style eggrolls). I did have 6 cups of water while I was there. I came to my apt afterward and didn't eat anything else.

Today has been good.

breakfast - 2 pcs wheat toast, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1 cup milk
lunch - ham sandwich, 100 calorie popcorn, 100 calorie pack of cookies and 2 cups of water.

I weigh in tonight at 5pm. I'm nervous because I really don't want to see another gain. I'll take any loss!

I really need to plan my weekends out. This upcoming month I'll be going home every weekend for either a Dr.'s appt or a birthday.

I'm stuck. And I know I haven't been doing a whole lot to help myself get unstuck. And I know that starting Wednesday, I won't do good for about 6 days!!! But after that, WATCH OUT!!! I do have a goal to lose 30 pounds by the time we go on our trip to WDW in July, so I know I need to lose about 5 pounds a month, which sounds pretty easy!! We'll see.

It will be easy as long as you stay on what ever program you use! I agree about the 6 days of not doing good...I know they are coming and I vary between joy and dread! We'll see how it goes! The truth is that we can all reach our weight loss goals if we keep our heads in the right place and put in the effort. This is attainable by all of us! Diva power!

So I have weigh in tomorrow after work. I am hoping for 3.4 gone to be at the goal I set for myself for the trip. It would put me at 85 gone and under 200 lbs! I don't know if I have quite made it though...I only worked out 3 times this week and a couple of those times weren't as intense as they could have been. So we will see!
