Disneyland Divas working out, getting healthy, and looking fine in '09!!

I did my 1.5 mile walk today. Now I want to go back to bed.

I'm disappointed to find I'm up like .5 lb today after all the jogging/walking at DL. I am hoping this is the salt from two days of eating corned beef.

I also managed to set off my achillis tendonitis with the jogging. DARN! I may rest it today.

Keep it going so they golf cart doesn't have to SCOOP you up at the 5k! (If it motivates you, I'll use it ;) )

I did a 30 minute run today. Couldn't breath too well with this cold, but I got out there. Junk miles, I think they call them.

Quiet day. Hope everyone is doing well.

Made it to the gym for weights. Cardio tomorrow. I was up half the night coughing. Am very ready for this cold to be over and done.

Hi Ladies! Great to see you all gettin'r done! Good for you! I have to admit, I have been in a bit of a funk since getting back. Too much to do, and too tired all the time. I have made it to work out at least twice a week, not eating too terribly bad, except for one day when I ate 3 cupcakes that a vender brought to work. They were just wonderful, to say the least. Also, had pizza yesterday too! Pretty much holding my own on the scale, not losing anything for sure.

I am really bummed because I don't think I can do the 5K trip. Or at least if I do, then I have to sacrifice my bday which is Sept. 9. I just really can't support a 5 day trip in Sept. and then another longer trip in Dec. Still thinking it over and trying to decide what would be the most important to me. The 5K looks really fun, and the only thing I would be missing out on for my bday would be the giftcard. Hmm.....decisions, decisions.

Okay, well I hope that you all have a great Friday!

Hi Ladies!

Time to check in. So I got on the scale today. It was about what I weighed before I went to Disneyland. Since I did not weigh myself after I got back from Disneyland, I don't know how much gained there and since lost - but at least I'm back to what I was. Now I just have to get off those other 4 pounds gained on the Feb cruise and I'll be good!

I did well with exercise this week. Three days of weights and two days of running. I'm hoping to get a long run in this weekend if I can get rid of this stupid cough.

It's a tough one. Did you look at the photos of last year's 5K? That really made me want to do it. I've never done any kind of walk or run and this looks like the kind that I could do - there's so much visual beauty and fun.

But only you will know what's best.

That's great about the weight, Jen! And you've gotten a lot of exercise in for a sick person.

About the cough... I hope it is not like what Tracey and I had (at different times). I am still dealing with it, but it is getting better.

I did 30 min on the crosstrainer while watching TMZ at the gym. Then the only class that was starting was "senior aerobics." I am not a senior but went in early and explained about my achilles tendonitis to the instructor and she was very welcoming.

Boy, did she put those seniors through a workout! For 30 straight minutes, she had us all marching, kicking, side-stepping, grape-vining... :) Then we did band work and then some stretches for one hour total.

I'm wondering if I'll feel it tomorrow. I do machines and weights but this was different.

Hope you all are doing something fun and physical for the weekend.

weighed in today at 210.0. I'm happy with losing over 3 lbs, especially because this week has been HORRIBLE and my job has made it difficult to stick to my schedule. Yesterday I was at work for 20 hours (not planned of course) and did fine all the way through the day but as the night went on, and I ran out of the things I brought for lunch, and the cafeteria closed, and I was STARVING, the only thing I could get my hands on in the department was a pack of oreos.

Anyways....this time of year is crazy for me and I can't wait until late spring when my life goes back to normal.

So a total of 33.5 pounds gone...I can't wait to get closer and closer to 200!!!

Hope you all had successful weigh ins! Now I need to get back in gear with my exercise routine. Hard to squeeze it in when I barely have time to sleep...lol
 
I went to Disneyland and DCA today.

The lady at the store across from the JC says it's 1 mile from the DL entrance to Critter Country, so I know I walked at least 2 miles today:thumbsup2

I made it to the gym this morning for a weight works class. I would love to do a long run, but my body just isn't cooperating. I need to get over this cold...I'm so bored of coughing during the night and not getting enough sleep. :sad2:
 
I'm heading off to Vegas for three days for a conference. Will try to exercise in the mornings and eat not too bad. We'll see how it goes...

Beth, you have come so far, so don't slip now. I am talking to myself as well as I haven't gone down for a week and was a pound less two weeks ago. I blame it on all the b-day celebrations but I just have to rein it in now. Had a LC for lunch.

Cristabel, that's great to know. I swear I must remember to wear a ped next time I go to DL.

Hi all! I have been working really hard at sticking to my plan. I have lost 10 pounds since the trip. I am not stopping either. I feel more determined than ever. I have been working out and I have stuck to eating more fruits and veggies and less bread and processed food. So....here I am. I am not really counting points anymore.

Anyways...just wanted to let you all know I HAVE NOT fallen off the wagon.:rotfl:
