Have a fantastic time - I hope you don't have any problems with the van.

It's official!

I have lost 20 pounds! :banana::woohoo::cool1::cloud9:

2lbs down this week and I was a bit worried.

Contratulations!! The banner looks great! How was the register training?

The DH and I took a nice 4 mile walk on the canal trail. I'm hoping the ramped up exercise will get me past this plateau.

Good Morning Ladies! HAPPY MONDAY!

Have a great start to a great week everyone!!!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Good Morning! How is everyone? I hope everyone is having a good Monday... I got the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred dvd... Anyone here done it? I am excited to try it... 18 days til my trip!!

Not so much a happy Monday over here.

I'm sick  runny nose, sneezing, itchy throat etc. I slept until 10:30, woke up and put the dog outside, fell back asleep, woke up again to eat at 12:15pm and after this post I'm going to try to empty & reload the dishwasher. After that I'll probably go back to sleep.

I have NO energy today:sad2:

So I have a feeling that there will be no workout for me today. So I have to watch what I eat today.

Christabel: Hey sweetie, I hope you're feeling better today. Get lots of rest and fluids.

Good Tuesday morning everyone. I hope you're all having a good week so far.

I'm doing much better after having a HUGE body crash late last week due to extreme vitamin deficiancy. I don't want any of you going through that because you're cutting back on certain foods and your caloric intake, so make sure you take a good multivitamin everyday. (I obviously wasn't taking any vitamins, nor had I taken any for years and years. My doc looked at me like  "Who in the heck doesn't take a daily multivitamin?! DUH!" Ummm, okay, so I'm a dummy.:rolleyes1 ) Watch out for severe/extreme fatigue, blurry vision, numbness in hands and feet, mental decline, and a sore tongue. It was horrible.......I could barely walk from one room to another, and it was an effort for me to keep up a conversation because my brain actually felt tired (if that makes any sense). It took about 3-4 days of taking some heavy duty vitamins before I felt like I could function again. My doc said that it could take a few weeks before feeling completely well, but I already feel pretty normal again. So don't be dumb like me and take your VITAMINS!:thumbsup2

Okay, enough of my boring lecture.:goodvibes

Have a great day and be healthy.:cheer2:

Hello Ladies!

Please get your rest, your water and YOUR VITAMINS!! We must take care of ourselves! And eat heathy foods too, as we need to get nourishment, not just count calories.

I am having a hard time remembering my water intake. WATER WATER WATER. Got to drink it!

So here's the QUOTE OF THE DAY:
Never compromise a dream. Do what you must. The fears, beasts, and mountains before you are part of the plan. Stepping stones to a promised land. To a time and place that is so much closer than even you expect. So don't let your eyes deceive you, for even as you read these words, your ship swiftly approaches…

Happy, healthy thoughts to everyone today!:goodvibes

I agree Cristabel, I hope you are feeling better!

I've haven't taken a multivitamin (so don't think you are alone). Although I have some I just never remember to take them. I definately will make sure to add that to my routine in the mornings. How scary for you. Luckily it was something easy to reverse.

Today went pretty well for me. I had my weigh in and happily I was down 1.4lbs!! Finally the tracking, drinking water and all that exercise finally paid off. Now I just have to keep it up this week. I'll be going to a convention next week and I'll be stuck in a room for three days where my job will be to make sure the food and beverage tables are kept fresh. I've already decided what I should eat from the choices, but the breakfast pastries in the morning and the cookies and pastries in the afternoon will be a real challenge to stay away from. I did find out the hotel has a 24 hour fitness center so I have plans to get in my time on the eliptical. I may even try the lap pool.

Hope everyone else has a good week.

Good evening!

I am just feeling frustrated with myself tonight. The past few days I have been eating like I'm starving. Yesterday, I had a 3 slices of pizza for lunch and then 2 for dinner. I am so ashamed to even type that out. It is the truth though. Then today, I had pizza again for lunch! OMG! WHAT am I doing?? And while I am eating, I am thinking to myself, "put that down...you don't want it." Yet, I eat. And eat. Ah, I am not sure what my deal is.

I also really need to figure out a good time to work out. I am thinking mornings at the track next to the school I work at, but then I will be nas-tay for the rest of the day. I may just have to bring some body splash and face wash to use afterward.:rotfl:

I am ready to start fresh right now. I did have a small WW cake instead of having a cream-filled donut for dessert. That is 1 point vs. 9 points. SO yay me for that one!:cool1:

I hope you all have a great night and thank you for letting me talk all about my pizza addiction.

I have a hard time with water, too. The only time I like drinking it is when I am working out and in the morning when I wake up. Getting it in throughout the day is sometimes hard for me. Diet Coke just sounds better when I am thirsty. I know I am bad.:rolleyes1

I really like that quote!

January,

Don't let a one (or two) day slip you up. You made a good choice with the WW cake so just start anew tomorrow.

Can you work out at the track after work? I know it just makes it easier for me to not have to worry about looking good after sweating.

I used to not like drinking water, but I've found that if I just have a bottle at my desk with me I'll take sips all throughout the afternoon. You could try adding just a little amount of a sweetener and a slice of lemon to give you a little flavor.

I know how that feels...terrible! Today was somewhat like that. But I blame it on my being sick.

It is hard to find time to exercise, especially when you're already exhausted!

Good luck on trying to get that exercise in!

I've eaten pretty bad today but I'm chalking it up to having a cold and not having energy to go find some place that serves a healthy alternative. Lame excuse, I know.

I did exercise! I swam vigorously for 30 minutes and according to the a calorie burn calculator, I burned around 530 calories! I was SO hungry afterwards and tired too.

I'm feeling sick again so I'm going to take medicine. I have register training tomorrow morning at 9am so I'm hoping my runny nose goes away!

HAPPY WEDNESDAY!

Works been CRAZY today.

I did much better today. I ate some good things...I did struggle, though. It will take a while to get used to this new eating.

I would work out after work but I have to pick up DD from preschool. I also have school. I will figure something out. There is no excuse not to get exercise.:thumbsup2

I totally hear you. I've only now started to have time (my boys are out of high school). It's so hard to do it all when you have little ones. Then you add in school for you and I can only imagine it is difficult to schedule some time for yourself.

How is everyone else doing today? I did pretty well until this evening when I walked into the house and DH was just finishing up baking cookies :scared1:. I've already eaten four. Now I just have to move past it and lock up the cookies so I can't get to them.

Thank goodness the weekend is coming soon.

Good evening divas!

Today was very good. I don't know if I ate enough calories so I think I'll be munching on some fruit while I study for my business test. But I did exercise again!

I did 45 minutes, vigorous swimming. According to healthstatus.com I burned 805 calories! :goodvibes

http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc

I'm very sore and I'm SO happy about it.

I fit into a smaller size underwear! :lmao:I was an 18/20 in Lane Bryant and now I'm a 14/16. I wish that was my pant size!
