Disneyland Divas working out, getting healthy, and looking fine in '09!!

Good Morning all! I hope everyones week is going well... I had 2 sales yesterday which is a nice change of pace... Been working out hard this week... had a gain today from yesterday which is odd... no cheating but I think I am at that weight point where muscle gain will start reflecting in my weight... So we'll see... I've been using Biggest Loser:Cardio Max and Biggest Loser: Power Sculpt for the past 2 days and boy am I sore... The night before last hub did the sweetest thing! I told him I needed new free weights for my Power Sculpt dvd since the 7 lbers were too heavy... Well he came home with a dozen roses, 2 lbers, 3 lbers, and 5 lbers for me :) He can be so sweet :lovestruc Anywho thats about all here...

I walked into the pantry and saw the pringles sour cream and chives looking at me, beckoning me...:sad2: Yep, I ate em---a lot of them. They were good, but not worth it. I am back on track again today. I am hoping to lose another 10 pounds before Thanksgiving.

You all inspire me! Way to go on all the exercise. I am sooo lazy when it comes to excercising. I just need to bust a move!:yay:

I've been stressing too much about my upcoming trip I think. Anyway I feel crappy. Anyone have any hints for getting rid of a cold?? I've taken vitamins, Airborne, and Zicam. Now I'm going to rest.

I'm trying to get ready for a lake run on Friday. Looks like we're going to be away this weekend, so I'd like to get my run around the lake out of the way before we go. This week is very little running (tapering) to let my legs rest for the big run.

I've been sooooooooo busy and stressed lately. There's just not enough hours in the day. Between home, kids, bills, banking, and TONS of paperwork, I seriously feel like I'm about to have a nervous breakdown or a panic attack or something!

The bad: We're going broke, period. DH is a real estate appraiser, and as we all know too well, the market has tanked.......in so many HORRIBLE ways. He's trying to find another job to get us through these rough times. I pray to God he finds one.

The good: I've lost another three pounds so far this week. So since last Monday, that's a total of eight pounds.:yay:

Ugh, I am feeling your pain. In the past three years, our income has gone down almost 50%. BUT, we still have the same bills.:sad2: I am at least grateful that I have a job with good benefits. I pray that your DH finds something. I know it is hard.:hug:

I weighed myself this morning and there is no change. I am just glad I didn't gain. I have not been exercising and have been a bit lazy during my free time.

I am down 1 lb. Not a great loss but good because it is the time of month I normally don't have a great loss and I also had a great loss last week. I am averaging about 2 lbs per week so I am happy with that. I got more exercise this week so I am happy about that. I am going to try to get even more this week!

Sorry I have been kind of MIA most of the week... Between working out (I worked M-Th and will do so again today) and work I have been beat... I am happy that I have pushed myself to start working out daily instead of 2-3 days a week... I dunno if it really helped my weight but I feel more confident and like I'm making more of an effort... I am also down 2 lbs this week :) I am at 188.8 today :) Yay for 180s! Hope everyone is having a fab Friday!

Capri and January, I totally feel your pain too. Everything is so expensive these days. Prices go up while people are making less. It sucks. We have four kids to feed, clothe, etc. It's hard. I admit we use our credit cards way more then we should. (gasp, I know) We should not even be taking this trip. Not at all. :guilty: But it's the last one we will do as a family for at least 3 years, so we decided to go for it. Then.......that's all. We'll stick to cheap or free family activities after that.
I'm working doing the ChaCha thing so I can make some money for Christmas presents. With four kids Christmas is always a hard time for us. Any extra I make will help.

Anyway, just know you aren't alone. :hug:

My uncle and his family are going through the same thing. Thankfully he had other experience which God used to find him a job. Last I heard, he's teaching at a dental school and going through the process of becoming a police officer. He wants to become an officer, go through the probation period, and then work at the airport.

Praying that your husband finds a job, FAST.
 
Well this week could have definitely gone better. I I have only exercise two days this week (today will be three). My eating has been so-so. I have been taking my fiber and drinking cranberry water so I'm hopin ghta thleps and I don't gain this week.

I'm only 2lbs away from my 20lb STG and I'm so frustrated that I wasted this week.

After school I'm going to pick up Osita from Petco, drop her off at home, change and head to the gym. I plan on doing 30 minutes elliptical (or treadmill) and 30 minutes swimming laps.

I have register training for the Disney Store tonight from 5:30p to 8pm.

Tomorrow I WILL go to the gym again! I have to go use their scale to weigh myself so why not just workout afterwards, right?

I'm trying desperately to get smaller in size so I fit into the t-shirt I bought for MTOTP.

Just stumbled in the house now. I did my RUN AROUND THE LAKE!!! Some walking up hills, but most of it running. Made it about 9 miles in 2 hours -- with some hills and trail running. Very tired and sore, but feel good! :goodvibes

Just stumbled in the house now. I did my RUN AROUND THE LAKE!!! Some walking up hills, but most of it running. Made it about 9 miles in 2 hours -- with some hills and trail running. Very tired and sore, but feel good! :goodvibes

Ok, today is just NOT my day.

Strike 1 - I've been feeling crappy all yesterday and today

Strike 2 - I go to the gym, read to swim laps and the pool is closed

Strike 3 - TOM has decided to attack.

Then after I got food it was already 4pm. I have to leave here at 4:50 for Disney Store training.

So it's already 4:20pm :eek: I need to go iron my "costume" and do my hair.

I've been busy spending my evenings finishing a book for a book club. I made it to the gym M-Th so I feel good about that.

Oh man, that sucks about the mortgage payment!! I'd be freaking out. Even cutting way back if that happened to us, we'd be done for. I'd be so furious with my bank for making such a huge error.

Oh, plenty of freaking out has been happening. I go between total freak out and thinking of ways to reduce expenses or trying to completely ignore the situation.

I wish my weigh in had gone well. I don't know what's going on this week. I've been tracking, drinking my water, hitting the gym and I gained weight! I guess the good news is it didn't really make me lose focus. I've continued to track, kept going to the gym, and feel like a fish I've drunk so much water. Hopefully next weeks weigh in will be better.

I totally understand. I work in the Mortgage Insurance industry (I'm a meeting planner) and there is talk of reducing in scale all of the meetings that we have on the books. If they cancel stuff I'm afraid that they will decide to close our department.

I'll think really good thoughts for you and your husband.
