Disneyland could get it's People Mover back soon!!!

This past September, at Destination D, George Kalogridis (President of Disneyland Resort) said that under current building codes they would not only have to widen the entire length by six feet, but they would also have to build additional stairways to ground level. He said that not only would the cost be prohibitive, but that the requirements for stairway locations would be very bad show.

Based on chatter I've heard and some other factors, I personally think that the Frontierland expansion will take place before the PM coming back.

I'd agree that that is far more likely to happen first.

I'm dreading how busy DLR will be next summer.

Ah thank you. :goodvibes Yes, I would love for PM to make a come-back. However, I am deeply concerned about the extent of the structural damage that RR did to the tracks. Also regarding Tomorrowland, I wonder how long the Captain EO Tribute will run, and what will replace it when it does come to an end.

There's no where to expand Frontierland. You can't expand into Circle D, because that would mean the absolute end of all the Main Street USA horse-drawn vehicles. And if those are lost, the front end of Disneyland loses so much of the atmosphere that's been a part of the park for 56 years.

^^^

Not true research Discover Bay it was supposed to be a Frontierland extension designed by Tony Baxter.
