Hello everyone,

So after looking at Disneyland California we are really interested in going,

I was just wondering if any of you have been I went nearly 9 years ago so I expect alot has changed so wondered what it was like?

and I have tried to find prices for this november but the Disney California website keeps coming up with errors :S

Just priced up a week in Nov, not having any problems with site.
Disney's Paradise Pier® Hotel $1,715.00
Disneyland® Hotel $1,890.00
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel® & Spa $2,590.00

Adding 4 day hoppers for 2 adults increases prices by $443, $653 & $723 respectively, No idea why it costs more for tix in dearer hotels, not looked into it.

Their cheapest hotel works out at £169/night, twice we have stayed at HoJo opposite, 10 min walk and a Mimis Cafe next door for great food. Both times paid £38/night although just had a look and it probably around £50/night now with worse exchange rate.

Oh thank you so much

I dont know why I am expereincing problems with it then :S

Ill have to go back and try again thankyou for your quick response though :)

its working now lol my laptop must have been still asleep lol

thank you again and thank you for you recomendation to howard johnson

No problem.
Many like to stay in the Disneyland hotels but prices are beyond what I am willing to pay for somewhere to sleep.
There are quite a few hotels close, some even nearer than HoJo. Its not like WDW where offsite means transport. You just walk across the road.
Just shout if you want any other info.:goodvibes

Thank you we did stay off site when we went last time and we over looked the parks and had a better view of the fireworks from our balcony then in the park

i wouldnt pay that amount of money to stay on site either as we plan to go to universal as well i only stay on site if we dont plan to travel any where else

I loved Disneyland, it's definitely my favourite MK type Disney park :goodvibes We stayed at the Fairfield Inn which is walking distance to the parks and there are a fair few other hotels which are aswell. The HoJo that Wayne mentioned is very popular on the Disneyland board on here but it was full during our stay.
I don't think i'd go all the way to California just for Disneyland, it's an amazing state and I highly recommend seeing the non theme park side of it :thumbsup2

We went to Disneyland last summer for a week and stayed at the Grand Californian theme park view (thanks to DVC points). I personally would not go back again until after 2013. Starting from last autumn the California Adventure park is practically being rebuilt (new lands added, new rides/attractions, entrance being moved, new streets being built, whol axisting lands being re theamed) so there will be lots of construction on site until this date. We really enjoyed our stay at the GCH, having a balcony with a theme park view meant we fealt like we never left the parks at all for the whole week.

Oh really thanks for that heads up

I dont think we would be able to afford it for a long time yet any way as we are having an expensive WDW trip 2010 a disney wedding 2011 so may be will hold it off till 2013 then
